    Question rundll32.exe_fdprint.dll question

The scan works on my Brother DCP-150C but once scanned it's not saving. A window pops up which has this message: Function Discovery Print Provider DII has stopped working. Clicking the more details tab it seems to be the rundII32.exe_fdprint.dII file at fault.

The Windows Fax and Scan program works just fine so scanning isn't a problem.

I was just wondering if there's an easy fix or is it a job for my PC guy?

    Hi Gill!

You should be able to fix this yourself, but will need to know which OS you are using and whether 64 or 32 bit.

    If you go here:

    http://support.brother.com/g/b/downl...=dcp150c_eu_as

This is the support page for your all-in-one

Select your OS and you will be given a list of drivers etc for your printer and there was also a firmware update for this model which is available.

Often simply putting the drivers on again will fix the problem (corruption may have occurred) or the firmware may need updating owing to one of Windows' automatic updates.

Anyway, download the drivers abd reinstall for now and test it out. It may not say so, but after a reinstall I always reboot the PC and in this case the Brother as well.

Let me know what happens. If it does not work will need more detail from you, best done by PM.
