Thread: Countries with embargoes

  1. #1

    Default Countries with embargoes

PayPal's list of embargoed countries .... and selling items from a country on the embargo list.

Is it illegal for me to send Cuban coins to the US ? ... or

Can I send the coins legally from Canada to the US if the customer pays me with something other than PayPal?

Wow, that's news (crazy news IMHO) to me. I thought it was only the cigars that were illegal. Smart of you to check this out beforehand. I really do learn something new every day...

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Wow, that truly sucks. I can understand not wanting to deal with weapons related stuff, but stamps and ciggy cards? Not dangerous that I know of, though I suppose you could always stamp someone's mouth shut, LOL.

Will have to check and see who/where/what's on the list myself, don't want to inadvertently make a boo boo...

I think that it's more than getting around PayPal. I think that it's illegal to import coins and stamps into the US after the communists took over. If they catch it at customs, I think there would be a problem.

    It is not illegal

    The embargo pertains to currency

    Numismatic items are not included
