Thread: Ecommerce Bytes Survey - 2014 - Results

Just because we didn't get the results we wanted doesn't mean it's not credible, I bet if eBid had come in the top 3 then no one here would be saying the survey wasn't credible lol.

Yes, if ebid was number 3 we'd all be saying that's great and that next year ebid will be number 1

I bet a mobile app would help get eBid more monthly page views as it has been proven that more buyers are using mobile apps from their phones & not web browsers.

I just been on the top voted site, and i would say it is not easy to use in my opinion.

Okay we got it! You found another misspelling! Great that you point it out.

    Think no more about it.

Actually I was not suggesting it was a spelling error, more a missuse of words.

Yes poll results can be skewed by various factors, you only have to recall any election polls v/s results to see that.
Many users have never heard of Ecommercebytes, so it's only a small sample.
But there are 2 good reasons why I'll continue to participate in such polls.
    1. It gets the eBid brand out there into cyberspace, & who knows, some may join as a result. (some may even be buyers)
    2. Our relative standing (over time) can be used as an indicator by us & the operators re the success or otherwise of the brand.
Action can then be taken to steer the business (without reading too much into the results)
So I believe it is worth participating. IMO
