I for one am getting a bit feed up of some of the negative posts that show up in a different part of this forum,So to count the negatives and the bad press this gives to ebid and its forum I would like people to post as many positives they have about the site.
Be it a list of sale and amount of profit or a great bit of feedback you have received or something new you have tried that has worked well with sales anything positive.
If you only have negatives then please don't post on this thread thank you.

    Right i will start off.
The last 2 months for me have been the best 2 months on ebid with my sales total for the 2 months of 25 sales and each one a profit. that's good for me being a Hobbyist.
I have also seen more hits and higher visibility on google now i have switch from run till sold's to auto re-post's.
So things are on the up.

My view is that any negative points continually made are not necessarily always a bad thing.

Ebid is certainly a site that demands more inventiveness from its core users and i believe that if we all cast a critical eye over what we do here then this could be helpful in helping the site grow.

We need to consider that Ebid are competing against what many consider to be the only player ...namely Ebay.....and for reasons that i am still trying to understand by talkng with buyers (without being too intrusive) is what is stopping them using this site.?

I must say that I agree with what you are saying. As a buyer I have, many a time, had to use Ebay for my stocks and purchases as there just aren't the products on here which is a great shame as I would far rather buy from here. I always check here first. So maybe it's the sellers we need to win over in the first instance? I used to use Ebid a few years ago as a seller and the growth since then has been immense, but still not the things I want to buy. So what the answer is I really don't know. Just keep on plugging I guess.

It's a catch 22 situation. If we had more buyers then more sellers would join eBid, amd if we had more sellers more buyrers would use eBid. It seems that all we can do is for those already here to keep on adding to the variety of goods as much as we can, keep on spreading the word and gradually attract new buyers and sellers.

I agree that some negatives are a good thing if they are put across correct and with points or suggestions of how to put things right. But this thread was started for mainly 2 reason.
    1) to counter all the newbie sellers that have been on the site for less then 3 months that instead of asking for help just jump on the forum and post ebid is bad/rubbish.etc rather then coming to the forum and asking where am i going wrong or what can i do to improve.
    2) Above mainly appears at the top of the forum and is a bad advertisement for the site for any new person looking at the site so the idea is to sell the good stuff about what people have done on ebid to the new people looking at the site rather then just read a thread that starts off negative and turns in to a argument.
If the people that start these negative threads did so constructively then there would be no need for a positive thread but just post thing like ebid is rubbish then leave it at that and then never reply to any post on the following thread is no good for anyone on the site.
