Make an offer, it took me a while to work out what penni meant in her earlier post as well.
lol thanks i thought it might have been some sort of charity thing lol. thanks
Thanks for that. No answer to query to ebid as to meaning! For the sake of two letters MaO could be changed to "Offer" and then newbies like me wouldn't be completely bamboozled!
Welcome to the Forum, Twosmiles! Love your username!
I take your point..... but then maybe those who are new to eBid or online buying might think that the price quoted is the best price offered rather than an invitation for them to actually make a lesser offer? possibly..... and maybe not .... who knows the mind of the online universe? lol!
Great to see your point of view especially as you are recently aboard.... keep your perspective coming! It makes an older newbie (still learning!) like me rethink stuff!
The requirement for the site to work across all manner of devices can mean screen real estate is scarce on smaller screen. This can necessitate the use of iconography in some situations. What is then needed is a key on the page (top and bottom?) detailing the meaning of any icons used. 'Make an Offer' is described in the 'Buying' help page (though the abbreviation and icon are not mentioned), but that is too tucked away and the information needs to be available at point of use - with maybe a link to the relevant section of the help page for more information. Maybe one for the 'Suggestions' forum?
