Wow, that sure is some state of the art piece of equipment.
I love cooking on charcoal, but we haven't had the weather to be cooking outside this year. I think we have only had one or two barby's so far.

Oh dear, I'm saddened to hear about the fires burning in Colorado. Those poor people - my heart goes out to them, after all that happened last year.
What is going wrong with the world's weather?

Al, you have had me believing it was Tuesday today - I'm shocked to find out it's actually Wednesday. I must have lost a day somewhere .....
Wow! I truly thought it was Tuesday when I posted. I really need to start drinking earlier.
I'm going to keep the gas grill and still use it for quick cooking, winter BBQs and bad weather days (I cook outside all year round). Big Red is perfect for Roasts, Ribs, Steaks, Chops, Turkey, Hens, Leg of Lamb, Chicken. Burgers I'll cook on the gas grill...much quicker.

As much as I BBQ I still steam my Hot Dogs. I don't like em on the grill.

If I remember correctly, American hot dog sausages are different to our sausages.
I think US dogs are partly cooked, and are better steamed or boiled or deep fried in batter. I think they have a synthetic casing, but I may be wrong.
UK sausages are mostly raw meat (and whatever else they throw in!) and they are encased in pigs intestines.
They are better grilled or barbequed, or again deep fried.
You can also roast them in the oven in batter - we call it Toad in the Hole!

We have Hot Dogs (pork & fillers) Turkey Dogs, Beef dogs and even Cheese dogs. These are I believe put together with scrap meats and fillers surrounded by some type of skin.
I view 4 types of sausage...Polish, Italian, Bratwurst and Breakfast sausage. All are pork with different seasonings surrounded by pork intestines (skin) I guess. These are best done on a grill in my opinion but not Hot Dogs.

I enjoy an Italian Sausage dish I make. It's served cold. Grilled Italian sausage sliced into bite size pieces, Green Pepper, Red Onion, salt, pepper, cayenne all mixed in with Bow Tie (Farfalle) Pasta served cold.
