Evening all, hope everyone is well. Trish how did the carrot pealing go?

Some good tunes and as ever once I get onto Youtube I spot something else interesting.

    What about this one from
Haim a pretty good cover of early Fleetwood Mac

    One for Pos Nightwish

Still finding it hard to believe that this guy has left us Tom Petty

Fat Domino yet another legend we've lost this year

    Neil Young one for Halloween

John Stewart Love this song, this is from a brilliant double live album

Soul Asylum I'd not heard this for a while, forgot how good it is.

Dare the Soul Asylum track made me want to hear this again

    Keep the music coming

Sadly, we can add George Young to the list.

    Greetings from a coool Cheshire,

Old, I've given up on keeping up with who's departed their mortality, it is never ending!
If that's a stuby, strewth, what's the normal bottle like?

Another day of listing completed yestyerday, 702 achieved!
Same again today.. why this flurry?
I am dumping my websites, (no decent return on investment) and neet to get the items on eBid before my plan expires in a couple of weeks.
I could do it by spreadsheet but I am editing titles and descriptions and checking that I have still got each postcard, cover, postmark, item etc in stock.
It's surprising how many small errors I have found.

Now, it's time for three cultural choons,

how about some Russian Turbo-Polka with a song about a tractor!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADCvlqc_6ws

and a lively German choon, won't matter if you don't know German, just enjoy the cultural ambience..
    again, it features tractors..

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mW3hTCA1s0

and finally an Austrian group with men dancing in Lederhosen.. featuring a Polish lady singing in a Dirndl.

    Stay safe
    Graham

    Thanks for the choons everyone.
I'm feeling elated - I can see! Everything is bright and clear - no fog, just vibrant clarity and colour.

I never realised just how beautiful everything is - the sky, flowers, trees, birds .... ermm, not very bird friendly at the mo. My Pampas Grass has again been raped by the flocks of sparrows and starlings - it's pitiful. I will take a pic of the mess and show it to you tomorrow.

YAY! No grandchildren or son tonight - just me and th'owd mon! (Pottery slang - I'm originally from Stoke, the Potteries, home of the finest Bone China manufacturers FYI)! Sadly, in this day and age, no-one appreciates fine Bone China, ugly heavy earthenware or cheap plastic will do. Ugh!
I always drink and eat from bone china, coz that's all we had when I was a kid as both my parents worked in the elite bone china factories like Spode, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, and me on Aynsley china.
I will show you some pics of the stuff that I used to make - I still have a kiln in the garage, but I no longer have time/patience for all that now.

To celebrate my wonderful sight restoration, I think we should have a toast!

And - here is a pic of my newest grandchild - welcome little Robbie!

Ermm, books - (re your question) the carrot peeling went without incidence, I managed to sort out the hard ones from the soft ones ....
Loved the Nightwish choon - Posbear introduced me to them a while back and I love them!

    G'day all

Congrats on the 20/20 vision Trish, that's great. 'n little Robbie as well. He's lookin' back saying - What the! wat's that thing you're pointing at me!
When my Mum had it done, she blamed the eye specialist at her follow up consultation - for the old wrinkly lady lookin' back at her in the mirror!

Hey Pos - it doesn't take much to keep those Russkies happy, stompin' in circles & singing about mad Trek-tors!
Yes it's hard to keep up with all the sad loss of talent we've had lately - it's a long list.
Well done with the listing - slow & steady wins the race (not that I'm racing you)
Yep! those Northern Territorians know how to drink! - it's fairly warm up there! Here's a few in their range.
Naturally, you have to be a real he man to carry home a 6 pack of those stubbies! (not to mention then drink it)

    Greetings

Trish, congratulations on being able to see clearly again, and congrats on wee Robbie, love that name

Old, maybe that's why Aussies use utes, for bringing home crates of that beer in them!

Love this, a van in disguise as a ute..

Wonder how Wyo's doing with the dog training?

and now a choon for Trish..

    G'day all

Yes! isn't it amazing that wrinkle cream is unnecessary until after an eye op!
Don't think that wee doggie thought much of the program!
    We'd call that a "Clayton's" ute.

Have a great weekend all - I'm off to the north today ('bout an hour & half) for my 90 year old Uncles birfday bash!

Here's another one for Trish! AND some pain killers!

Greetings from a freezing cold Cheshire

Despite the clocks going back 1 hour my body clock is still on BST.

Old, I hope you had a good time up north.

Trish, how's life in your crystal clear world?

Wyo, are you snowed in yet?

Shesa, you keepin up with the chores.

Books, stop making me feel old with your choons!

I had a busy weekend listing add infinitum. now got 927 items between 4 shops, will I make the 1000 today? hmm, probably not.

Why is it that when you want to watch one YouTube music video you end up watching dozens!

So to get us started here's a choon from the Lord of the Rings movie by a group called Van Canto, whose only instrument is a set of drums!
The origanal was by Annie Lennox)

    Stay safe,
