    'Morning/evening folks!

Hey Bill, you sure look a cool dude with the leather J and matching titfer!
Hope you are recovering from your over-indulgence at Blackpool, betcha had a fun time! We have spent many happy days there and always ended up feeling like you do now! Must be something in the air!

Wise words from meebs Old, that Rick is far too precious to take chances - sure hope that it won't be too long before it ends up in your arms - hot little hands or not!
I hope you will be OK undergoing that colonoscopy - sounds utterly grotesque ... you must be a brave little soldier! Fingers (toes and eyeballs as our Sues used to say!) are crossed for you on Wednesday. (((xxx))) hugs
The Zep choon is 'not available' from the link you sent, so will have to search for it on youtube.

I'm not planning on doing too much today, still a bit green around the gills and worn out with having Dom and the little 'uns here. I was happy to wave them off early this morning! Pheww.........

G'day all - just about to start the prep kit this arvo for the colonoscopy - so I'll be a bit busy this evening! I'm used to these now, lost count how many I've had.

Meebs, I'd be happy to pick up the geetar if one of you would like to pay for a return ticket from Oz to the US for me???
This time it'll be a door to door freight forwarding company, although it WILL be more expensive (but worth it) Schenker look good?

Bill, bin there, done that & I have no sympathy for you! You could try a colonoscopy prep kit for a quick fix! Sounds like it was fun though.

Trish, hope you're feeling better soonish! "Dancing Days" x Led Zepp was/is a Y'tube link, so I don't know why is doesn't work for you.
There is heaps of Zepp stuff on the tube!

Here's the new fence if anyone is interested. - 36.5 meters long - you can see a bit of the new neighbours house!

And some of my old mates playin' at my steel geetar social last Sunday

Hello everyone! It is raining here right now, but so far no thunder storm. Actually is pretty close to a typical May for Wyo. I remember when they were putting in the city water system it seemed like it was raining every day and mud everywhere. This is how I end up so far behind with the mowing, can't get out there in May so it is a humongous job in June.

The picture is of my latest accomplishment. I mainly just wanted to try the yarn. It is made in Turkey and has 50% Wool, 50% acrylic. Do people still value wool? I myself am not crazy about that plastic stuff, but it seems to be everywhere.

Sorry to hear about your neighbor Shesa, but perhaps a blessing in disguise. Some day his kids will be regretful, perhaps.

Missy On fell out of bed Monday morning and damaged the nerves that control her left front leg. I brought her home yesterday, but probably not for long. It will depend on whether she improves or not. She woke up before me and must have tried to jump. I guess I shouldn't have put her up there, but she is used to sleeping with me and even though she is not a cuddler, I can tell she misses it when she doesn't. No more, that's for sure. I put her bed by the head of the bed so she can be as near as possible to me.

I will get to work now, as I'm not so full of good news this week.

    Fence looks nice Old.

    G'day all - I'm baaak!

Wyo - very nice & intricate looking work there! Yes, coming from a wool producing country, we certainly value wool products, it's much better than that synthetic rubbish! All the best for Missy O.
I'm happy with the fence, & I think the guy did a good solid job. The new neighbours are very close to moving in I would say, probably this weekend maybe?

SO - I thought I'd tell you all the colonoscopy story in song! as it progressed & happened! BTW, I don't have to go back till 2 years time
The Doc was very late, but that's another story!

Good morning! This is what i have been doing; As it is supposed to be summer the visitors have started to come. Over the next few months, the spare bedroom is everything but spare. Sometimes I think it should be in the hotel guide But as they are all good friends I have haven't seen for a while and they can look after themselves if need be, I am happy

    Hey, all!!

The funeral was simple and very nice. The drama and thievery that took place after the funeral still has me PO'd so nuff said about that! Not in any mood to tolerate BS, I just got my scripts filled at the doctor and the rest of the time I've been venting my anger on the yard and it's starting to look pretty good!

TRISH - sorry the meds made you feel so bad and glad you had the good sense to stop taking them. I am so happy that you had a good visit with your Mum!! Dementia is especially hard on the family. My grandmother had it, my uncle's wife has it and I see small signs of it in my mom, but they seem(ed) happy - almost "childlike" in their little worlds.

OLD - glad to hear the geetar will soon be on it's way!! I've always heard that "good fences make good neighbors" so glad you got yours finished! It looks very nice and you seem to have a good view of the mountains in the distance!

Your "colonoscopy in song" was hilarious!!!!! Thanks for the much needed laugh!!!

The "special choon" was right on - is it bad of me to hope I get to see them "walk the plank"??? ROTFLMBO!!!! I had to play it again for hubby and he thought it quite appropriate too!

BILL - you still on salads??? LOL!!! Other than eating & drinking too much, I hope you had a good time! As Trish said, you do look good in leather!!

WYO - I never could get to the yard or garden until June when I lived in SD. I thought that having 100 more GDDs here in TN than I did up there, that I would be gardening in April but it's usually June before the rain ends enough to get serious about it. I am getting a bit concerned that we are going to have another drought this year. We keep getting promises of rain but rarely does it happen. I was grateful for that this past week though since it gave me a chance to burn off some steam.

I think most people prefer "the plastic stuff" over wool these days as they can toss it in the washer and dryer - no special care required. I decided I wanted some felted wool dryer balls to get away from the chemicals in fabric softener sheets. A set was more than what I wanted to pay and when I looked at pure wool yarn to make my own, it was even more expensive. I found 5 wool sweaters at a thrift shop for 50 cents each, so one of these evenings when I ave nothing to do, I'll unravel them and make the balls. Maybe - there were two really cute sweaters that I might keep for myself to wear - lol!!

How is Missy O?? I'm sorry she fell and hope she has settled into having her bed on the floor by you.

MEEBO - sounds like you are going to have a busy summer!! I hope you have a bit of space between guests so you can enjoy the visits

Well, off to get something done - don't know what yes as the mind is saying "GO!" and the body is saying "NO"!!!

    Y'all take care!!

    Shes

G'day all - hope everyone is well???

Not exactly a "pea souper" this morning (has been heavier the past few days) but, it is taking till 10 - 10.30am to burn off, which is unusual for us here.
Today 10 to 23c with a 30% chance of showers & possible thunder storm this arvo! Few days ago, I couldn't see those houses across the street.

    Breakfast anyone!

    OR a drinkies?

    A choon or 6?

It is quiet here in the forums. I expect all the UK users spend their time in the sunshine while we have some. I wouldn't mind a little rain over night, and the plants would appreciate that too

    Helloowee!
Hi y'all - just checking in to see that you guys are still popping into the cocktail/music lounge.

I haven't been too well this past week, but after yet another quacks appointment today, I got an all clear of chest infection. " Praise the Lord"
I feel so relieved as the antibiotics they keep giving me have made me feel so poorly. I have to have standby medication and it's a new drug - so wish me well!

We're off to the sun again, this time to Salou (Spain) ... never been there before so hopefully all will be OK.
Sorry I can't stay long to chat, I need to get over yet another hectic afternoon/evening with coping with the youngsters.
