Windy all day today, although it sounds pretty quiet right now. I've been goofing off today, signed onto the computer to work, but played games instead, shame on me. Oh well, that's life I guess. Going to go investigate what I can make a casserole out of soon.

    Everyone be very careful tomorrow.

Hi everyone - sure is quiet in here - did we run out of plonk and music?
Had a busy time of late plus I haven't been 100 % well, but coping OK now.
I've been for my breast scan today - took quite some time to find them, as they didn't have a magnifying glass handy .....
Hey Wyo - did you make a decent casserole?
Don't forget we have to share and I'm awaiting here with my plate in hand!
I'll share - I made a big dish of cottage pie yesterday, have to say it was one of my best.
Still got loads left, I now have to portion it off in individual servings and freeze it for later - so shout if you want some before it's too late!

Anyone got any decent choons to listen to?

Oooh, thanks books, I shall enjoy listening to them all when I can, probably whilst I'm eating my breakfast tomorrow.

Trish - I made a tuna noodle casserole, I put in Asian vegetables (edible pod peas, water chestnuts, broccoli, carrots, peppers), noodles, tuna, cheese, and cream of celery soup. Topped with bread crumbs from my home made bread. There are still plenty leftovers so grab your bowl or plate, whichever you prefer.

The sun is shining and I am doing laundry today. Gave Missy On a nail clipping even though she wasn't too hip on the idea at first. I have to go to Amazon yet, I need a new mattress pad and I thought I would get a white sheet for photo background. I think a twin 6 x 104 inches will do nicely. also a spare memory card for the camera.

    My latest finished project -

Not perfect yet, still have a couple of ideas to try.

Anyhow - the bells, the bells - aarrrrhhhh!

Starting with the largest musical instrument in the southern hemisphere a "Carillion" presented to Australia by the British government on the 50th anniversary of our capital, Canberra. Accepted & opened on behalf of the Australian people by her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during 1970.

    Good morning

Not been in for a while, nothing much to report on, still living the life of a hermit.
I got to see only one son with his family at Easter, got a big hug from little Mia and got to hold baby Max for the second time.
The only human I've interacted with since Easter Saturday was the Tesco delivery lady.

Anyway, I hope you are all sorting out your ailments and avoiding bad weather!
Old, thanks for all your research into music instruments, fascinating!

I still think that the human voice is the best instrument, no two are the same.
There is a lady from Oz that caught my attention recently, Old, you might recognise her Grandfather's name..
    Here is an appraisal..

    and a song..

Now for another classically trained singer..Tarja Turunen, who seems to look a bit like Greta.

    Stay safe and well

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.

Wow what a voice! I'll bet she can bat as well
Who knew - we don't hear much about her down here, not that it's the type of music I'd normally listen to.

Yep. had a very quiet Easter here also, & managed to lose another half kilo, by avoiding all those good bad things like hot angry buns & chocolate rabbit eggs etc.
Got a few more ideas on the instruments to go so stay tuned.
Great that you got to catch up with the grandies Graham, they grow up so fast (I'm told) so enjoy it while you can mate!

I still think this is one of the best female voices of all time - rings like a bell (pardon the pun)

And that's what I did yesterday. The weather's been a good deal warmer, but the wind had been blowing, I must be in Wyoming.
