LOL Trish! Some folks used to accuse me of that before the rosacea hit, as I was always paper white no matter what and stayed up all night, (though these days I have to get up with Winston so not so much of the party gal).

I am getting paged as well Trish, I was stood outside watching a passenger jet turn round in mid air and go back to manchester or L'pool, well it went back were it came from anyway unless it was dumping fuel.

Lots of planes and helicopters around here, what with the Army post right next door. Nice to watch and not nearly as loud as the artillery practice.

Good Morning everyone.
It's not as warm as it has been lately, there's a northeasterly breeze, and my hands and feet feel cold.

I've had a nasty shock this morning. I picked a bowl of strawberries and raspberries to eat with my cereal, and sat in front of the 'puter to eat them as I looked through my emails.
I felt something move on my leg, just above my knee (I always wear shorts) - looked down and it was a long-legged spider ....
I jumped up and knocked my fruit and cereal everywhere .... what a mess. OMG - I keep thinking what I would have done if I had picked the darn beast up and put it in my mouth ... arrgghg
I have learned two lessons - always thoroughly wash fresh fruit and never read whilst eating it. Now I'm spooked coz I don't know where the beastie is, I bet it's hiding and waiting to crawl over my foot for a laugh. I think I will put some socks and slipper boots on to fool it.
I had better have a stiffie to calm my nerves

Buttons ... what on earth were you doing outside at a quarter to 1am watching a plane?
On second thoughts, don't answer that -
