    G'day all

Excitement indeed there WYO! - that Duncan should take a pill, B4 he's carted off in the rubber truck!
After all - he did fail to provide the required info etc. therefore, all his own fault.
Lets not start a discussion on the merits (or otherwise) of going around armed in public - especially after what has just happened in Florida!
On a lighter note - Ya gotta give that Ralph 10 out of 10 for effort!

Trish - that is all bad & sad news! Sure hope you & yours get the best possible care ASAP - If I was prone to prayers - I'd be having sore knees ATM.
    All the best from "downunder"

So sorry to hear the landlord won't be checking up on us in future! Want to thank him for kicking this thread off in the first place.
Love his choice of parting music, & I'll add one of my own, plus just a few drinkies! All the very best for the future Al - the "landlord" Drum-meister!
I'll be out in the man cave with Zep blaring & getting hydrated for ye!

    May the revolution continue!

Sorry to read about your sister and niece Trish don't have the words to even imagine what you and they are going through. Like Old i'm not into praying, however I do hope that things take an upward turn for you and yours.

Also sad to hear that Al won't be following us any more, have really missed his posts.

Need some fine drum work to toast him along with a good tipple

    G'day all

I'm orf to the hospital in the big smoke today, for my hernia check up!
I already know what they're gonna say - come back when you've lost MORE weight!
I haven't yet reached the BMI level they want, before they do the op.

    Howdy folks!
Burning the midnight oil here .... cannot settle down, my sis is due for surgery tomorrow. She will learn if she will lose just a couple of toes, or her foot. It depends on what success the surgeon has trying to get the blood flow through her veins. One of my other sisters has told me that they are going to try through her thigh and also her ankle to get her veins supplying blood and oxygen to her leg - I'm so upset for her and all her family, who are distraught. Seems so unfair to me, after battling breast cancer and losing one leg.

GRRRRRR!!!!! I typed a long message and stupidly didn't save it before I went onto youtube to get the link to a drum related choon for you (and Al). I lost all my script, now I'm too tired to repeat everything.

See you all in the morning, might even make you a nice cuppa coffee!

PS: Old - good luck at the orspickle , hope everything goes well for you (((hug)))

    Good Morning ......

    We have snow!!!!

Yes, it's true, lots of it as well! Just been watching one of the neighbours driving up the road, sliding all over the place. They turned back!
Trouble is, the snow has fell on ice and it's minus -4 C, so it's very icy. The wind is coming from the East, Siberia I believe, and it feels a lot colder than -4C. I'm wondering if the school will be closed, and also the centre where JR works, as many of the clients live in rural areas and will not be able to get through the country lanes.

I think a warming breakfast is in order today, porridge oats and maple syrup ..... help yourselves!

Hhmmmmmm fresh coffee and proper porridge

How could a bear resist that combo in the morning?

Trish, sorry to read about your and your family's problems, I hope that you and your family come through the hard times positively.

Old, good luck with you hozzy visit.

I've not been up to much, I've become a bit introverted and hermit-like due to having no confidence to face the outside world, I know things will ease and some sort of normality will resume eventually.

I have been listening to lots of music though, so here's one to get the dust off your speakers,

It's a young band from Moers in Germany, the lead singer has a voice to equal Tarja Turrinen!

and to prove that she can really sing..

    Stay safe and warm folks

    Hey Posbear!
Welcome back - sure missed you!
Aww, don't become a hermit, soon it will be spring and you will be able to get about more, and walk through those lovely woods near you.
Thank-you for the choons, great stuff!

Eagerly awaiting news about my sis, I'm praying that it will be good ........

    Catch you later.

    G'day all - I'm ba-aaak!

Had a big day out, & expensive (what with parking, fuel & all) but at least this time, I managed to avoid all the toll road tunnels! (wot a rip-off they are!)
I seriously think that our grubments have only installed them everywhere, just to make $'s - It's a huge joke, that it's to relieve traffic congestion.
Personally, I refuse to use them at every opportunity. They do this 2 ways. ( i.e. roads, tunnels & bridges)
First they build them (at tax payers expense) run them for awhile at exorbitant toll rates, then sell them off to private business interests, who either run them at higher rates OR crash & burn, thereby going back to government hands! OK rant over!

As expected, the horsepitall visit went as expected & I'll have another follow up review in another 6 months. More weight needs to disappear first.
When I reach the level (or less) that they want, I'll then go on the waiting list for the op - which could be anywhere from 3 to 9 months! (depending on witch doctor I end up with?) In the interim, they'd expect further weight loss - as much as possible!

Trish - sure hope the docs can get the circulation happening for your Sis ASAP - my minor issues pale in comparison to what she is going through, & I wish her the very best of luck with it all.

Pos - good to see ya back out of hibernation mate - thought that porridge would tempt you out! Nice voice that lady has! Never heard of them B4.
You guys sure are having strange weather ATM - sort of the exact opposite of what we've had - which is thankfully now over! (till next time!)

I was thinking of becoming a hermit once (some say I did) But, I'm glad I didn't go to that extent in the finish!
This reminds me of what I could have become!
