Just a quick message for Trish, you will be strong for the rest of your family and they will be strong for you.

Will have to pop back to listen to all the toons later, especially S.L.F. !

G'day all - have just scored a few more goodies for my bar area!
An old mate of mine had these in his bar for many years, but can no longer use them at his new place & was going to chuck them out!
So - thankfully, he chucked them my direction.
They are "fake" keg ends & now are on the wall near my bar. "Lowenbrau" - "Cutty Sark" scotch & "XXXX Beer"

Added a few choons for ya below!

G'day all - me too meebs!

Here's a few foot tappers for you, including one new lesson from Joe Wilson - this one's a bit out of my league ATM But I like to watch him do it.
I've just happened upon the group "Iron Horse" & they reminded me of an older Aussie group in the same vein called "The Fargone Beauties"
Interestingly - & would you believe it? Tommy Emmanuel played drums on some of the Fargones stuff.

Hope everybody is warm, dry & well

    Greetings

When are we going to get some decent weather ???
This winter is lingering too long for my liking.

I hope that our Trish is coping with things, what a time her family are having.

Thanks for the drinks and choons folks.
Mael has a good taste in music doesn't she

i visited Germany quite a few times with my job, mostly Munich
The downside for me was that I don't like lager type beer, but I developed a taste for the German Braunbier (brown beer)
Luckily my regular hostelry made their own,

I still have this darned cough, but the advice is to just wait and it will go.

Here's a jolly German Pagan choon for you..

    Be good folks

    Hello everyone.
Pos, I agree with you re the weather. It has been one long, hard winter and it's time that it warmed up a little.
I'm sick to death of this ice cold wind and dark heavy clouds, I desperately need some warm sunshine!
Hope that your cough clears up soon, and many thanks for the fascinating vid of FAUN.... and YES, our Maely sure does have a good taste in music!

Old, I love the fake keg ends - your bar is certainly becoming a place to visit by all and sundry, (my middle name is sundry ...lol!)
Yikes, sure hope that Al never gets to hear that last choon of yours .... eeek! Sacriledge!

Thank-you everyone for all your good wishes and kind thoughts.
I think I'm getting there now. I have been really poorly with acute IBS pain and all the rest of the horrible stuff that goes with it.
I'm afraid to eat anything coz I know that an hour or so later the stomach cramps and $$hit*s will kick in.
Thank goodness I'm better than the last few days - Dom left me to feed, bathe and put the little ones to bed as he had a disco booking tonight. They are sleeping like little angels now!

My sister had her other leg amputated on Tuesday, she has been so brave. She is hoping that they will allow her to leave hospital for a little while so that she can attend mums funeral on Thursday. We are travelling up to Nottingham and Stoke next week to see all the family and get things sorted out with mum's property. I'm absolutely dreading seeing my mum buried .... I don't know how we will all bear the sorrow but as the eldest of the five siblings, I feel that I must set an example and be there for my younger sisters and brother.

Big hugs to all my dear eBid pals ...... you all mean so much to me xxx

Finally caught up with all the tunes, a mighty fine selection from all.

Trish, I'm not a fan of One Direction but that Harry Styles track was pretty good, he's got himself a good band there.

Old, once again comes up with some great tracks. Not heard the Sarah Blasko version before, remember the Cold Chisel version, loved Jimmy Barnes voice. Can't fail with the Stones or any of the other British rock bands, Quo, Purple etc. Donovan one of my all time faves.

I'm a sucker for banjos and fiddles and that was a top version of Rocketman. Iron Horse would go down a storm at the Folk & Blues fest.

A quick hug for you Trish, I'm sure you will be strong for your siblings and I hope your sister is able to be with you. Will be thinking of you this next week.

Mael, have seen S.L.F. a few times and enjoyed them everytime.

Here are a few tunes I have been listening to whilst listing this last week.

Books I too have seen them a few times (6 or 7). Had an old t-shirt with the arms cut off and some wearage holes. It was a well worn t but it was 25 odd years old, so several years ago i listed it on ebay, carefully listing the damage. i listed at 99p and in the end got £36! Pity i hadn't kept many of my old t-shirts.
Loved the big country track. Another band i have seen many times.

Trish hope all goes well for funeral

POS another wave of cold weather predicted before we get spring.
