Hello fellow cocktailers!
I'm feeling a little better after all the sadness and traumas .... not going to dwell on them anymore - life is too short.

Oh Posbear - how awful for you with that ear crystal thingy - I sincerely hope that you get it fixed, and the sports physio doesn't rip you off for nowt. It would be lovely to hear (ear?!) that you are getting out and about with confidence again.

Old - how are you doing? Did the rain do any good? Is it getting cooler now? Weather here is abysmal - we are supposed to get more very cold weather and snow over the weekend. Disgusted .... we should be getting springlike weather now. Being a tropical type I cannot wait for temps to soar to over 25C at least!

Hope the weather for you guys has improved? We have had some rain, out of an annoying cyclone that's been hanging around off the Queensland coast.
It is now pinging off south & east towards NZ, so things are easing off here.

G'day Trish - great to see you back. We cross posted - & yes it is getting a bit cooler now & we've had heavy fog this morning, which is burning off now.
Agree - life moves on, & we just have to battle our way through. My Mum's funeral was one of the toughest days of my life - BUT I can tell you, things do start to improve eventually!

Glad you liked my choon Old - when I first heard it I loved it so much and little Isla (aged 4!) who was sitting on my knee also listening to and watching the vid, said do you love Harry, Nannar? - I said oh yes, I do.
Next thing I heard was that Isla had told her mummy that Nannar loved Harry and was going to marry him ... lol !!!

I suppose that you are grateful for the cooler weather, you have had some really scorching days throughout your summer. Hope your rain supplies are adequate to water all your beautiful orchids.

Every time I think of mums funeral my tummy turns over - I just do not know how we will all get through it - she is being buried with my dad and we have permission to open dads grave for mum to rest there with her beloved husband. They met when mum was 14 and dad was 15, and were childhood sweethearts. They married when mum was 19, and have loved each other all their lives. She will be with dad now forever.
Just dreading seeing her being buried, but I must be strong for the sake of my younger siblings and all the very many grandchildren/great grandchildren.
