Madelaine, you are not invisible, though I am not sure I saw your suggestion (but then I have a bad memory)

Sorry, I have no recollection of that, but I do hit "mark forums read" a lot! I don't mind who suggests if they do it. The more, the merrier!

I do run out of puff when it comes to bumping my suggestions & category suggestion threads. Several are years old and I get so I can't be bothered.

Seriously, the important thing is that this idea or something like it would enhance eBid. I browsed the animal charity section and realised that several of my items have been in there for yonks. When I get a moment I will be moving them out. I want to sell not store. eBid has been a very good venue for my sales. I can afford to wait for the right buyer (I've sold two tea pot/coffee pot lids recently... you have to wait for someone to break theirs!) but I want that buyer to find the items.

This idea would be a real enhancement to eBid. As it stands only the YDC category of Charity Auctions is a shop rather than storage!

In view of current discussion regarding opening a charity store [and I can't find Madelaine's original thread] thought this thread could do with a

    Yes, please ...

I have five stores up and running, so my charity listings are in my General Store.

Please eBid ... I won't quote Kim's well-written OP, but I do request that you make this available to us.

I have so many more items to list for charity.

Just adding my name as another seller who thinks this would be a great idea, and would be much appreciated by charity sellers.
I've not opened my charity store yet, it's in the pipeline.

I'd forgotten we even asked for this, but, of course, it remains a good idea
