    Question Sub-Categories in Womens Clothing...

I'm curious...is it just me or do the rest of you who sell women's clothing feel that we are in need of some more sub-categories?

I began listing items yesterday and was surprised at the lack of a further "drill-down" under this category. Case in point...when you click on Clothing/Women's Clothing/Dresses that's as far as it goes! When I opened up (in Buy mode) this monstrous category you are faced with a gazillion dresses all mixed up together. Wouldn't it make sense to have a sub under Dresses for, say, Day Dresses, Evening Dresses, Casual Dresses, etc.?

Just my two cents...what do YOU think??

I've been trying to get the 'women's clothing' category broken up for about two months now.
It would be particularly useful (to me) to have the STORE categories split up, as many people specialise in their stores.

If you look at the posts I've made in the 'category changes' thread, you will see that Gazza came back and said that at present a breakdown wasn't possible - very disappointing, as I think some other categories are completely unnecessary because they have nothing in them!
Why not take a quick look at my Stores?

Thanks for responding...for awhile there I thought I was all alone in this terrible confusion!! And YES! I totally agree with you on splitting up the store categories within clothing...way too many stores (if not most) have this problem indeed.

Hopefully between the two of us (it's lonely at the top) we can keep up the campaign and get results eventually...heck, it only took me a YEAR to get the 'preview' button on the revise listing page!!

It's very difficult task to any one, because women having lot of dress models, and at least we don't know the names of the dresses to categorized. They are using different dresses for different occasions like party wears, causal wear and night wear etc.
