Default White Out off of skin...

Ok does anyone know a pain free way of removing white out from a 3 years old skin? My daughter got into a dumped a whole bottle on herself and after 2 hours worth of baths I can't get it off! and it is making her skin tender! HELP! lol

Wow. I don't know if it's like latex paint or it's vinyl like hairspray or what. Have you googled? How about using mayonnaise or olive oil or peanut butter for starters? They shouldn't irritate her skin even if they don't remove the white out.

I've heard that nail polish remover, or rubbing alcohol will remove whiteout from skin.

I found WD-40 is a great and safe solvent for a lot of things. It doesn't smell very good, but it's not an irritant (like nail polish). If you can keep the mist away from her eyes, it would be worth a try.

Rubbing alcohol on soft cotton balls will work just fine.

Acetone free nail polish remover should do it just fine - ok I admit, waaaay back in the 80's we used to paint out nails white with the stuff - it got EVERYWHERE!! My hands were covered in it!

OK, that's my stupidity revelation for the day. Hope all works out ok for you and your little one.

If it is causing a skin reaction then I would seek proper medical advise rather than the witch doctors on here. A child's skin is very delicate and what us old fogies would shrug off could really damage them. Equally what we might use to remove something from our skin could do more harm than good on a child.

white out , thats tippex type stuff, correction fluid? I'm with astral, get medical advice. The solvent in that stuff is bad for anyone to absorb through the skin.

Why not ask your local pharmacist? They are hugely knowledgeable about medical matters, know about products available, and you don't need an appointment.
