    Default google base/merchant center

    hello
how often does ebid upload items to google merchant center (google base no longer takes products they tell me)?
Have items been uploaded for this week? Does anyone know when they do it? Any suggestion on how to do so ourself? Is there a file we can create from here and download or does one need spreadsheet software?
    thanks in advance,
    gmt

I agree, it seems they might do it in early hours of morning because when I list late at night, by 8 am next morning they show up. But they might do it around the clock too. A bit of a mystery.

Check your items periodically and see if they show up. I usually put in ebid + vintage linen or whatever and they will pop up. First time you see it I admit it is kind of neat. Wow, people around the world can see my stuff!!!

eBid state that they upload to Google 'soon' after a listing is posted/reposted. Interpret 'soon' as you wish (we know eBid exists in a different space/time continuum to us mere mortals). Anyone who has uploaded their own data feed to Google will know that Google process received feeds in their own good time. Ebid has no control over how fast items will appear on Google after they have uploaded them.

Maybe the new Google Marketplace Partnership will give priority to the processing of partner's (i.e. eBid's) feeds?

Hmm I'm underwhelmed I tried that, neat tip without a doubt, but only got 638 results out of about 4000 listings I have running... I'm not really suprised I'm doing so little on here

New listings & reposts are uploaded soon after they are posted.

Your items are all RunTilSold I don't think Gazza answered as to how often they are uploaded to google products, I think listings used to remain there about 30 days before needing to be renewed.

New listings usually go into Google within 24 hours and all stay on Google for 30 days, then its up to eBid to resend the data.
Listings from auction sites can no longer be uploaded by the seller, only by the site itself.
The only items that can be uploaded by a seller are those from their own website (if they have one) and a spreadsheet is the best way to put in the data needed for Google.

He did answer (after a lot of prodding).

All eligible items get uploaded soon after posting and on single or multi repost (Auto-repost has no effect). Items that remain on Google long enough to approach Google's expiry date (e.g. RUS listings) are refreshed before they expire.

Based on one I noticed today they also get removed from Google very soon after they sell.

    Double.

Maybe you could auto-relist your items X 10 rather than run til sold, see if that makes a difference?.

I stopped using run til sold when someone posted that those items are shown at bottom of searches.

Or...ask admin if there is a problem uploading your items. Something appears to be awry. Maybe something got missed when the big reshuffle to comply with Google's latest rule set was done.

I've got one which never appears for some odd reason: http://uk.ebid.net/perl/auction.cgi?...757&mo=auction

Admin did fix it once but it stopped working again.
