I've just finished reading Neanderthal by John Darnton, it was a real page turner I couldn't put it down ! Have now started on We Bought a Zoo by Benjamin Mee which I'm enjoying , but am struggling with the long chapters as I read in bed and my eyes keep wanting to close..

Halfway through "The Twelve Children Of Paris" by Tim Willocks, a follow on to "The Religion"
Superb action thriller set in Paris during the Huguenot massacres.
Every bit as god as his previous book featuring the same characters and set in the great siege of Malta.
    Very highly recommended

    Just finished this one :-

Brilliant book I couldn't put it down. How he survived what he went through I just don't know. A great tribute to his very brave girlfriend too.

"Philomena" by Martin Sixsmith. Makes me shudder at the actions of the Catholic Church in Ireland in the 1950s in regard to young unmarried mothers and how their babies were taken for adoption to the States.
