One for the Money is the first Janet Evanovich/Stephanie Plum book of the series. Metro Girl is the first of her second series of books. Both series are great.

Having finished Hot Six by Janet Evanovich I have resisted the temptation to start To The Nines which is the next one in her series I haven't read yet - treated myself to a supply of books for my birthday!

So, I decided to go for something rather more hard hitting and have started Phantom Prey by John Sandford - it is already giving me the creeps and I have only read the first chapter. I have read and enjoyed all of his previous Lucas Davenport thrillers so am looking forward to getting stuck into this one - it will be a much longer read than Janet Evanovich's books, but I can then go back to her for something lighter
