Just got my next six "cat who" books, so that's me sorted for a while.

I just love her those books too, so quirky and fun and those siamese are just so adorable

The funny thing is that in real life, I've never met a siamese I liked! They're all so highly strung. Much more of a tabby cat fan. But as characters in a book I can see that a snooty siamese has much more potential.

I'm going through matthew Reilly's books. they are fantastic, very fast paced and real page turners.
    Anyone else like these?

I'm currently reading Grant: Personal Memoirs and Selected Letters.
Yeah. Brit eyes are rolling again.
Actually, compared to many historical and current Americans of 'note' Grant had an honesty and openness that I've rarely seen. What hurt him was being pushed into American Politics where as a rule 'honesty' has no place. He was literally a lamb among wolves.

I've just started reading Book of the Dead by Patricia Cornwell. I do enjoy her books.

I read "Hiding from the Light" by Barbara Erskine a few weeks ago. She's one of those authors I normally avoid, because I don't get any sleep until I've finished the book. She's got this way of making me want to know what happens next, and I find those books unputdownable.

I've also just finished two Agatha Christie books (I got a large number in of slightly disreputable but still readable paperbacks), "Murder on the Links" and "Ordeal by Innocence". Not the most exciting of books, but ok for train riding when totally shattered.

    Hi Wizbooks,

Book of the Dead is the next one on my pile to read.

I have just finished Hot Blood by Stephen Leather and am just about to start Soft Target by the same author

He is a new author to me and I recently read his Double Tap but found I lost interest about three quarters of the way through. However, I enjoyed Hot Blood better, but it did drift a little in the middle, so I will be interested in how I get on with Soft Target. If I like it then I will read more of his, if not then I probably won't!
Come and have a browse - you know you want to!

I've never tried his books. Most of the time I read fantasy but I do enjoy reading James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell.
