I am resisting, though I love what the sewing machine part does. Anyway, as to the stair lift, I would cancel the builders for the day, and not the hospital

I would definitely cancel the builders. Especially as they have messed you about so much.

Lets hope the builder will finish on Wednesday. good morning. I am soooo tired. I just could go to sleep because I was thinking of all the things I need to do before tomorrow morning. That's why I don't like anyone staying here whlie we are away, but Barney does need looking after. That is one of the drawbacks of having a pet. Off to make tea and coffee shortly, but first I will need to write a letter or it will be forgotten again. My memory is getting so bad

I have a similar problem meebo - we've just met up with old friends and arranged to go away together in 2 weeks with our motorhomes - and I have to get cover for the Old Sailor. As our campsite bookings have been accepted, keeping my fingers crossed that the care agency we use can come up trumps.

Our Broadband changeover has gone smoothly - BT said it could take all day, whereas the new router fired up at 6am this morning - so goodbye BT and hello SSE.

Now to work out how to use my new phone and get it unlocked......

Penni, mislaying things is so annoying. and how often do you find the thing much later in the place you looked first
