Well, it wasn't a lump as at first thought, so great relief. And everyone extremely helpful with Dad. A much less stressful experience than our trip to Shrewsbury.

Good morning! We arrived home in the early hours yesterday morning, as the plane was delayed. I had about 3 hours sleep and then I was up again. I think most of the day I functioned on auto pilot. But today I feel things are back to normal. Oslo was hot - the normal temps for sommer are in the low 20s C*, but except for one day the temps were around 30 C* and sunny. I do feel relaxed, but I have trouble to adjust to having to cook again. But I will now start with a very large pot of coffee to fortify the sarge for her trip tomorrow. Oh, I took my holiday notice off yesterday, and I think there was someone watching me because I lost one over night! I'll be around today, so be good

Morning meebo - good to see you back again.

A lovely cool, but misty morning here in Mid Wales and I think we've had a bit of rain overnight.

Not going anywhere today so hope to catch up with a few things - I'm ever hopeful

    Have all a good day.

Good to have you back Private Meebo ( and my special coffee !). It's a tad noisy here today with tarmac spraying machines and bulldozers thundering past. Just checked with one of the workmen that we will be able to get the tank out and leave tomorrow morning !

Just discovered we have a wasp's nest in our garden wall. A badger must have been in last night and uncovered it as you can see where the surrounding plants have been pulled away. It does explain why other half got stung yesterday, glad I didn't disturb it when I was gardening a couple of days ago as I was working around that area - eek !

Pleased the Old Sailer is O.K. Private Mcc2.

Be good troops, I've got an early start in the morning so don't forget to guard my listings while I'm away !

Morning all - kettle's hot and tea is made, etc.

We're on a yellow warning for thunderstorms and flash floods - and I'm supposed to be going for a Physio session this afternoon - we'll see, as if it's tipping down, no way! Hospital car park is about 1/2 mile away from main entrance.

Got lots to do if stuck in house all day, apart from a few new listings

good morning! Quite cloudy out and pleasantly cool. I might just do another load of washing. Hope the Sarge's journey will be trouble free. I must venture to the shops later, as we are very short of fresh food

Good morning! It's Saturday and I can see a blue sky with a few white clouds. Looks warm again. I went out shopping yesterday and last night my knee was almost as painful as it was when I first hurt it in April. I am beginning to wonder if it will ever be 'normal' again. I am off to the canteen to make tea and coffee and will release Barney on the way there. I think he still hasn't forgiven me - either for sending him away for a week or bringing him home. I'll be around later
