Morning one and all - the sun is shining and the wind has dropped. And may it stay this way all weekend.

Just a couple more things to do and we should be ready to go.

    Have all a good day.

Thank you Lieutenant Maplegin. Spent all yesterday baking so at least there will be a selection of desserts other than the one bowl of strawberries he had planned. Will have to start thinking about salads today as his idea was to produce one bowl of potato salad ! I'm so stressed about having all these strangers from his tennis club in my house tomorrow that I've woken up with a load of eczema this morning. Thank goodness I've got a couple of friends coming that I can talk to.
He's just walked in with a load of meat and a fresh pineapple. I said "what are you going to do with a pineapple ?" He said, " oh, I'm going to use it as decoration it will look nice with the strawberries" ???????????? I fail to see his logic, it's hardly a Victorian dinner party !

I see the craft site are putting their fees up and starting to charge on the postage, hopefully that should bring us a few more recruits.

Lots of re-listings and new stuff.

Quiet day today. Watered the lavender seedlings which I'll plant outside if I don't kill them...also attempting to start off some ground cover from seeds...lol

Morning - well the solar panel works but not enough for the laptop as it's rather cloudy.

Otherwise all is OK if a little cool.

Ello troops. Well the dreaded day has arrived at last, just got to wait for the early afternoon showers to pass and then it will be all systems go to get everything out into the garden. Just got some salads to make and then the rest is up to him. I don't think he's quite grasped that he's going to be cooking for most of the evening, I think he has it in his head that it will just be an hour or so and then he can party with his mates !

The cadet and wife arrived back safely yesterday from Plymouth in their new tank. This is going to be very useful as I've already been offered a lift to my early morning hospital appointment in a week's time. It's going to be so strange being driven by my son after me being the taxi driver for so many years !!!

By the way where is Private Buttons ? Has she gone AWOL or is she buried under a pile of builder's rubble ?!

morning all we are thinking of you Sgt, hope OH has worked out how long things take to cook, glad you have a friend coming as well hope it doesn't rain otherwise he'll want to use the cooker instead. Think we'll stick to a take away from the chip shop at the bottom of the road.

The relists are done will try & list a few more today.

Hope everyone has a brighter day than it is here very miserable just about fine.
