Ello troops. Meal went well yesterday but I suffered again last night with what I presume was bad indigestion or heartburn. I must be becoming allergic to my own cooking, something didn't agree with me yet again. Everybody else was O.K. !

All quiet on the Weston Front still so hoping for a nice relaxing day just pottering.

I've been getting a similar thing of late, mine might be a hiatus hernia (I'm the right age... ) and I'm keeping an eye on it.... Could be worth checking it out....

A sensitive woman such as yourself needs to be taken out to eat more often, obviously

Thank you Private Dart I hadn't thought of that, that might be a possibility. I was thinking more along the lines of costochondritis though as indigestion tablets seem to have little effect while pain killers do and the pain seems to happen quite a few hours after eating. It also seems to happen when I am lying down, I was lying on the sofa yesterday evening and hadn't eaten anything since lunchtime when it started. If I get any more attacks I will get it checked out, still feeling a bit sore this morning but not as bad as yesterday. Might go for a short walk in a minute to see if that helps ease things.

It looks like that hot thread about advertising has been vapourized!
Went the way that many similar threads went.

Whatever happened to free speech and debates?

Oh, and a Happy St.George's Day to you

Well, I for one reported it - we are not supposed to mention the dark side here and threads like that are not useful - search engines pick them up.

And don't trot out that free speech thing - eBid pay for the hosting so they can choose what is said!

I did not report it but I do agree with you that we should not use the name of TOS for the reason that you mention, Madelaine.
I am surprised that so many people on the forum think that it is a good idea to refer to TOS on this site.
