I think the 4.8k total refers to eBid as a whole.

Why ? It's the number of listings available on all the eBid sites in all the countries not just the ones available to buy in the U.K.
Not everybody offers postage to the U.K.

Evening all from a very dull and breezey site near Stratford-upon-Avon. Called in to the National Memorial Arboretum on our way over here - a very moving experience and we saw so little of it in the time available to us. Just be warned - you need a good pair of walking shoes - or do as we are going to do when we come back - hire a mobility scooter or buggy to get around - the place is huge!

    Trust everyone is keeping well.

Well, after saying it was unlikely to add any more listings today, I actually managed to list a further 9! Now, where did they come from!

And I managed to let my dear lady persuade me to go for a walk with her.... Two aching aging bodies in our house tonight - she doesn't realise we're getting past it now...

I collected nearly 10kg of random coin and foreign notes from the Hospice accounts department last week. Most go to the bank or the coin brokers but a few end up being listed on here - I've been trying to up the number of listings I have but those beastly buyers keep intervening and almost none of the coins I sorted from that lot for listing lasted more than 12 hours on here.
    Madelaine

4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
    My Postcard Shop
    BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
    & Yarnalong for craft patterns
    and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.

Tut, I had the opportunity to shout at Drill Sergeant Madelaine just then but a newbie just sneaked in and pinched one of mine so I had better remain tight lipped !

Well done on the listing and exercise Private Dart you will be well warmed up for when Drill Sergeant Madelaine sends you over the assault course tomorrow.

Now talking of tight ... she glances around to see if there is anyone she can follow into the mess !
