I Think I may have screwed up here, i decided i would make a loaf from scratch in my breadmaker, i put all the stuff in and went to fill it;s little measurer with water and discovered the paddle was in the jug and not in the machine, so mike scrubbed his hands , dove in and got the paddle in place, i put the water in and sat down and re read the recipe and i thought it said put two eggs in and it says egg whites. I think i may stick to helens bread mix from asda in future , i am now waiting to see if i get a loaf or a very strange cake Name: confused.gif

I find if I have bread disasters, we have very nice bread pudding. Good morning. It isn't 6.30 and it is getting light! Tea and coffee are made and I have just defrosted bread in the microwave. I think tomorrow we will have a fresh loaf. What else is new? I did some scanning yesterday and a bit more editing when I discovered items that should be listed and weren't and vice versa. I expect there will be more of that too. I am ready for my tea, so off to put the kettle and coffee machine on. See you later

Bit of a gray day, with a little blue in one or two spots. Philpott is still sleeping, even without the aid of the cough medicine. Saw the pheasant this morning.....he is so gorgeous.

Time changes in the US today, just a reminder. Hope you are all well, and have enough special sauce to handle what the day brings. Thanks for the coffee, meebo. Hope your arm is better this morning.

Morning - surrounded by thick fog earlier, but seems to be lifting.

Now all the snow has gone, we seem to have lost all the visiting garden birds looking for food. The feeders are looking very lonely.

Two weeks until BST begins in UK which means I will be running late most mornings until my mindset adjusts!

    am worried no relists today,
We are off over to Mum & Dad, yesterday he wasn't to bad & the nurse was in last night & tonight so that was a relief then somer has to wait to see what help there will be with nurses next week distric nurse came during the morning & hope she will be there today, feel so sorry for Mum because she keeps forgetting things also when was talking to Dad he was worried about Mum so we will probably spend more time over there & if there is nothing for either of us to do can go on the computer & list just will depend how she is.

Hope everyone is having a good Mothers day.

Buttons sounds as though you will be having bread dessert.

I didn't have any relists yesterday either Lieutenant Maplegin which was strange. Maybe the listings got stuck sometime in the past so we've got a day off !

Went for an Indian meal last night which made a nice change, mind you it hasn't done any favours to my waistline when I got on the scales this morning

... back to healthy eating today !

Was on cat duty again last night and this morning and got scratched as the tom cat had run back out last night when I was trying to coax the other one in so both of them were out on the razzle. Of course he didn't want to go back out this morning and had a hissy fit when I tried to shoo him out. I didn't want to leave him in as he was trying to claw the furniture despite his owners putting blankets over the sofa etc. Anyway got him back out in the end but was left with a war wound for my troubles !
