Oh dear, hugs to you Lieutenant Maplegin and Corporal Somerset. I quite understand the stress you are going through and promise not to shout today for losing one ! As Private Meebo said it was bad enough coping with one parent, and that was under the same roof, but having to dash out every time something happens must be awful even if they live close by.

Well I've been shorn so I can actually see the monitor screen today to do my editing ! A little light relief tonight as off to the mess with my neighbour across the road !



Private Majesty I use 'Camp' chicory & coffee essence in my coffee cakes which seems rather appropriate !

The nurse has just been out to check the hole thing and it's still draining but is quite clean, so so far so good pam, i hope they are l looking after Somers dad for you it's bad enough here without going through what you both are XX

Going back to the coffee cake: camp coffee came to my mind too, though I haven't used it yet. I tend to make proper coffee (not instant) extra strong and that works well too

My mum always used Camp coffee for her coffee cakes. Also used to make delicious little cakes callec Coffee Kisses from the Bero recipe book.
