Ello troops. Well only made it as far as Chippenham yesterday as the traffic was so awful. Bath is gridlocked at the moment as there are roadworks in the centre and the queues in and out are terrible. I think there must have been somthing going on on the bypass too as there were streams of traffic taking short cuts around our area. Didn't find much stock but I did get some bargain stamps for my collection which made it worth while freezing on the route march !

Meeting friends in the mess tonight for a meal which will be nice but not looking forward to climbing back up all the hills afterwards ... I suppose it will burn off a few calories !

Now who was on guard duty while I was out yesterday ?
One vanished from my shop in the afternoon and I was hit from down under (very painful !) in the middle of the night !

I collect 'used' stamps from all over the world. My grandmother started me off when I was five years old and I've collected on and off ever since. Lol, I've managed to amass about 30 albums now and have another 15 in a smaller collection for my second son. O/H moans about the amount of bookshelf space I take up ! Yesterday I found an old album which had a number of stamps in that I didn't have and a huge folder of stamps (which will take me weeks to sort !) for a bargain price in a charity shop.

The last of the whole World collectors! If you are taking up too much space then you are making the world a tiny bit less unfair on women - most stamp collectors are men.

I just told british gas where to put there homecare 2 contract almost literally with a few extra words thrown in almost £400 bar a pound or two to come and brush the boiler out once a year, I am not or was not in a very good mood after three items NPB here, an ebay bill and £208 something to BT for yearly rental, where do they think we get all this money from to pay their damn shareholders and company directors. boy do i feel better now.

    evening all.
Have managed to get relists done this evening as had a busy day, we were at the ausction this morning & bought some shipping Postcards, then this afternoon was to the shoppoing for inlaws & then we went & celebrated Mums birthday & took her sister as well, so cream cake & tea was nice but wondering where the day has gone,

Tomorrow will be stripping the PC albumn & then sorting & scanning so we have a busy day.

Good morning! Canteen duty is done. I even made biscuits/cookies. There are also some nice rolls - well, it is the weekend. I will be alone for a lot of today, so with a bit of luck I shall get some things - even some prep for tomorrows lunch guest. People are stirring, so breakfast will be had soon

Morning - had to go out early to get more milk as himself had used it all for his breakfast at 6am [I wasn't around then] Don't shout, Sarge, but also had to post a small packet due to a sale last night, but already replaced.

The Old Sailor was winding me up last night as he now thinks he's eligible for Pension Credits with having to pay for a cleaner every week! Not with his income and savings I told him - so now I have to print out the info for him.

We have the mobile caravan techie coming this morning to fit an external gas point in the MH for our BBQ - ready for the summer.

But first another mug of tea - I need it!
