Red thanks for putting kettle on hope you soon recover, there seems so much around, Somer seems to havesome sort of cold but not coming to anything. hope it stays that way.

Have done the relists & now think we will be with out inter net as somer has to change it over to Sky broad Band.before his new computer comes from.

Am sure you are looking forward to the cadet coming home early. They also probably feel they had might as well work in England 7 there own bed.

Morning - had to go out early to the PO & myHermes agent + do some shopping and feel as if I've been out all day!

Despite all the wind and rain I managed to hit a rain-free period to travel but still look like something the cat dragged in !

Now shattered and going to put my feet up.

Ello troops. Ugg, had quite a session with my new neighbour last night which kind of made up for new year ! There's rather a lot of Prosecco and Bailey bottles now in the recycling bins, I was impressed by her stamina. Please tell the artillery to keep the noise down today !

Just one more meal to go with friends on Friday then hopefully I can wring my liver out a bit.

Shall I send someone to mop your fevered brow for you Private Kite ?

Good morning!Well, I now have 2 working PCs thanks to my clever nephew. I wish we had taken the laptop with us too. He might have got that fixed as well. Never mind. Outside it is still wet and windy, but I shall go shopping with my sister later. OH is feeling a bit better and my sore throat has been joined by a very runny nose. I think tissues will need to be added to the shopping list.Next week at this time we should be on the ferry home. I just hope the wind will have calmed down or I will be very, very sick. Or the ferry may not even go.But a lot can happen in a week. Have a good day

What a horrible morning out there - just glad I don't have to go anywhere today apart from returning a faulty shredder to Tesco that I bought yesterday - but that can wait.

Time for another mug of tea to help me wake up

Almost deafened by the wind while walking dog today! It's not too bad by the house because we are under the hill but the Rec is right up top.

Hold onto your helmets chaps. I was just whisked away to Bristol to go and look round the big stores at some new sofas and nearly took off when I had to get out of the tank ! Boy is it windy out there.

Hope it's just a 24 hour bug for you Private Meebo and that you can enjoy the rest of your stay.

Hopefully I should be getting a Skype call tonight from the Cadet, from my cousin's house in Christchurch, before they depart on the next leg of their travels around New Zealand.
