Ello troops. The cadet arrived safely so stayed up talking late into the night, so nice to have him home. He's been suffering badly with the chronic fatigue though and has a heavy cold again, wish I could wave a magic wand and make it go away for him.

All quiet on the Western Front. Don't let that guard down though !

Well, sarge, he'll enjoy a little TLC while staying with you.

Good Morning! Cold but sunny here. The council came at 8 to take out the kitchen window and door the fitted just 3 months ago, and by the sounds of it they are not having an easy job. Will have to cancel my appointment with the psychologist this afternoon as they reckon they will be here till 4 fitting the new window and door. I'm having a Buttons day already

Awwww Penni - hope it all goes to plan and there's not a blast of Arctic cold while you have no window & door.

Rain again overnight but seems quite mild this morning. Oh, to be in Thailand with our little family - they appear to be having a whale of a time in the swimming pool!

Oops - appears I losted another one overnight, sorry Sarge - but still awaiting payment.

Time for some toast while I empty the dishwasher

Mornin' troops. Yes the Cadet has been very helpful with the computer Lieutenant Maplegin.

We trawled the internet and have decided that it's just too expensive to get a SSL certificate added to my website, it's not so much the certificate as I can buy it from elsewhere but there's a big annual cost for installing it from my ISP and I don't want to move to one of their other deals as it will mean losing my unlimited bandwidth.

I know it will be a lot of work but I've decided that to comply with HQ's orders to get a green padlock I will have to stop hosting my photos from my website and change them all to the eBid system and the graphics that I use will now be hosted from Flicka instead of the website. I was going to use eBid's Snapagogo but I saw that didn't have a padlock either ?!!!

Once I've moved all the photos the website will be a lot smaller and it won't matter so much about the bandwidth and I can look for other deals on SSL certificates then. The cadet has said he might even revamp it for me too. So now I have the YDC, the Christmas preparations (I'm meant to be going to Portugal for a few days just before Christmas too), people to fit in for meals and a load of editing to do. Sigh - there's always something !

Now I also have to shout at Private Mcc2 and Corporal Somerset for losing listings !

Hope you can hide in a back room and keep warm while all the work is going on Private Wicca.

That is exactly what we are doing. Not only do they have the new back door wide open, they have had the front door wide open all morning. We are in the bedroom with the dogs and have the radiator up full. The latest mistake is they have put in too much insulation and my dishwasher will not fit back in the space. The Mannie is away to talk to his boss now to see what to do
