She looks happy and contented and I expect granny did too. Good morning. Outside the sun is shining, lots of blue sky but it is chilly. Barney went into the garden but was back inside very quickly. What have I planned for today? more listing I think and trying to get some sewing done. I tried to take photos this morning, but I think the battery was very low as I could only take one, and that turned out fuzzy. Tea and coffee are made so help yourselves

Morning - had to pop out early to beat the rush and weekend traffic - and Badge didn't even miss me. Found her curled up in the duvet that's going to the laundry next week, all cosy and warm

Got few more items listed yesterday - why does it take so long? And then I have to back in to alter the Paypal account if it's a charity listing + add the overseas postage......... grrrr.

Seems I'll be adding one back as well as no contact from the newbie buyer from last weekend. Oh, well - you can't win them all.

But first another mug of tea to relax.

Ello troops. Looks like the little cadet is coming on well Private Moon and will soon be marching around !

Glad you are baking enough bread to feed the whole eBid army Private Buttons that should supplement the rations !

Stayed up late chatting to the Cadet last night so don't think I will be performing many duties today before the party. I did get all the grass cut and the whole house hoovered yesterday so I think a little rest in the mess is called for !

Moonie!! She is so precious!! Totally adorable and perfect!

Chilly and grey here today....Philpott has got man-flu, or ate something awful yesterday......so is still in bed. He doesn't do being ill without a little drama.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Thank you - really needed my first mug of tea this morning Not sure about the lard, but toast and marmalade sounds good.

Sort of sunny here in Mid Wales as it keeps clouding over + there are some nasty looking black clouds moving in. Himself may get the grass cut; and then, maybe not but he has 2 days off mid-week so he can catch up then.

Been following the drama of the Ospreys at Loch Garten - the male osprey has disappeared [no-one knows why] and the female is on the nest with 3 chicks which haven't been fed for 2-3 days. She's also fighting off intruder ospreys and crows. If she leaves the nest to get fish for her chicks, they risk predation. Very sad.

Do you have a Panasonic breadmaker? We have and I only ever make the smallest loaf because of the weird shape of larger ones.

Good morning! I don't quite know why, but visitors really disrupt routine. Even if I do get up at 5 (which I did) Still, she is leaving today and I have a few days grace before the next one comes. (I am not counting daughter as a visitor) I still have some things to scan and list. I also have a necklace to finish, but need to find the right glue first. OH promised me lunch out, so that is something to look forward to. Sun is shining and so far no dark clouds. Sarge, hope the party went well

yes Madelaine, i bought the one you said you have and its working fine, i will have to try and balance out these gluten free bread mix's most of them i have tried have got the yeast mixed in and you just follow the instructions on the packet so thats what i did, the Helens mix from Asda is awful, does not rise much and is more like brown bread, the Juvela one is lovely and white but as you can see went a bit berserk in the machine. But I am only a learner.
