Well Sgt we changed our mind & went out to a fete this morning about 10 miles away was actually nice to get out & see something different there was also a display of Military Tanks etc somer did take some photo's including an old Military Ambulance, just hope we aren't going to need it.

Since returning home have managed to list 12 so made up for my trip out.

Good morning! Nice to have you back, Penni. I have noticed how much later it is getting light in the morning. Not a good sign. Anyway, I am off to make tea and coffee shortly and to release the rabbit. He will undoubtedly chewing the bars trying to get out. It's going to be a quiet day not going anywhere as a lot of roads are closed so that these mad people on there bicycles can get around unmolested by cars. I have a few little jobs planned, but who knows if they get done (I don't) I'll be around though

Morning one and all - yes we've noticed both mornings and evenings are drawing in already and it's not August yet !

Not much planned for today apart from still sorting my new hard drive out and looking for missing files........... technology is a wonderful thing - when it works!

Just received an invitation to our grandson's 3rd birthday party - in Belgium ! [The family will be over from Oz at the time]

Annie I agree its wonderfull when it all works,
Certainly notice the evenings are drawing in all ready, have to put the lights on earlier, well its another lovely sunny day, forcast says rain for tomorrow will save watering if not the poor plants really need giving a drink everyday.

Ello troops nice and sunny on the parade ground here which is just as well as they say it will pour with rain tomorrow.

Two more sacks of hedge cut yesterday. Our new patio has been cemented and looks quite nice but he's gone and cracked a couple of the stones and instead of moving them to the back I can see one crack quite clearly from the kitchen window. It's like everything else in this house, the finish (if it gets finished at all) is never quite right. "Oh it will be all right once it has weathered in" says he ! Don't know why but certain thoughts keep going through my mind !
