Good morning! Grey outside, but the birds are singing. been up for almost 3 hours and have been relisting. Mil was hallucinating last night ( things that frightened her) so it was a special pill to make her calm down and sleep. She is still sleeping. OH is still not very well. I really think he ought to stay in bed when he can, but he won't be told. He mowed the lawn yesterday! I made some lemon cupcakes this morning. They are not perfect so will need to practice a bit more Right lets see how many more listings closed while I was in the canteen. Coffee and tea are made
Morning - grey and damp here as well
Himself has just left for work - he's doing a trial run of driving a bus to see if he can manage it after 4 weeks off work with a trapped nerve in his neck. Will find out lunch time how he got on. He's also been referred for an MRI scan but apparently that could take upto 4 months for the appointment to come through!
Still a bit of postage editing to do and all listings safe. YDC seems very subdued this month - not really the best weekend for it TBH.
Have all a good day.

Ello troops after phoning all around the hospital I've finally found the Old Soldier on the ACE OPU - Assessment & Comprehensive Evaluation Older Persons Unit - what a mouth full !
I spoke to a lovely male nurse who was really on the ball and gave me a lot of information, much better than the medical assessment people so I'm feeling a bit more reassured and he said he will start a food chart for my dad to monitor what he is eating. So far they have found he has high potassium, a new atrial heart flutter and hiatus hernia so they have put him on a new drug apaxaban which is a bit like warfarin but you don't have to monitor the blood all the time.
I shall be sneaking in to pinch a few YDC ticks later after I have been to the hospital !

Glad Sgt that OS is being well cared for, hopefully they will sort him out.
Hope everyone is managing to stay in the dry its really miserable weather here.
Happy birthday Pam!

Good morning! Clocks have been changed, coffee and tea made and OH is with our visitors on the way to Heathrow airport. I expect it'll be the shortest time he has ever done that journey. Not only is it Sunday, but the clocks have gone forward, and it is a bank holiday. Well, I hope the girls will have a safe journey home. OH too, I hasten to add. Mil is still quiet, but I better bring her tea. She slept so much yesterday that she missed lunch and supper and will undoubtedly be hungry. See you later
