Morning - did manage - just - to stay up until midnight. Just as well as neighbour was letting off fireworks for at least 10 minutes to welcome in 2016.

Waqtched the fireworks in London on tv, and saw a bit of other celebrations elsewhere. Best celebration here is 'our' pheasant who visited us all last winter, and in spring who brought his wife and baby into the yard, showed up on Christmas Eve morning. Glad he's still around....so beautiful! Will try to keep him well-fed so he stays close by and off the hunter's table.

Time to go do something, even if it's wrong! HAppy New YEar to all...........

I got to bed just as Private Meebo was getting breakfast ! A very drunken rowdy time was had by all and O/H managed to set the rockets off without blowing himself up ! I have a slight head today to say the least, so typing quietly would be appreciated !

Have just had a nice leisurly lunch with the rest of the family & played at being great grandmother was lovely hopefully won't be as long before the family can get together again. but think realise am actualy getting old.
