Good morning! Coffee and tea is made and in half an hour the bread will be ready. It's cloudy outside and looks as if the forcast of rain later today may come true. I was just going to say all is quiet, but no - Mil called. The carer should be here soon, so I will try and ignore her for a bit. I listed some YDC things yesterday and am ready to list a few other bits. So will see what I can get done now.Enjoy the scooter, Penni

Morning - think the rain is heading this way as well and I have to go upto the local hospital later for a follow-up to being issued with a hearing aid a few weeks ago. Can't get on with it at all...............

Our new patio was laid yesterday so will make life a bit easier for me when sitting out in the back garden. It was gravel before and I kept tripping up on it and nearly had a few tumbles because of my knee giving way. Now I've got to raid my savings to pay for it !

Time for another mug of tea ...........

I heard on r4 a specialist talking about this and he said that it takes time for the brain to adjust to the new signal and it was a good idea to stick at it. Many people don't use a hearing aid for long enough before giving up. Switching it on and off just extends the brain's learning time. This is entirely reported - I have no personal experience so it may be intolerable in practice but I pass this on for what it is worth.

That was shame Penni, giving it away I mean, I give stuff away on freecycle as well but never seem to get anything I ask for do you ?
Anyway you will be a lot safer on this as we do worry about you going out on the bike when you are ill or when it's windy, I have only zoomed up and down the front path and garden so far, but we did buy it ready for when we needed it, unfortunately it's a bit small for mike as he has long legs, I am thinking of getting him an electric chair though so will need a bit of advice on that as i want one that can be pushed as well and also be able to put a shopping bag on.

Well it's a good job I got most of the grass cut yesterday as it's pouring here. Got to go out in it soon to pick up O/H from work too.

I can't imagine why you can't get on with the hearing aid Private Mcc2 ?!
