Apparently the poor girl was in labour for 56 hours!

Good morning! and welcome to the world, Riley Claire. Its fresh outside and breezy, but the sky is blue, so maybe warmer later. The birds are very noisy. Off to make tea and coffee shortly. I also need to sort out what to list for the YDC and prep a few things for the planned BBQ tomorrow.I think that takes care of today

Morning - rather blustery out there and much. much cooler and comfortable.

Today I will be catching up with things that didn't get done earlier in the week!

But first another mug of tea to gather my thoughts.

Mornin' troops. I woke up to a direct attack from Sweden this morning they must have been up early, I didn't even have time to get out of my slippers and get my army boots on !

Just as well I got another couple of listings on yesterday.

The garden is starting to look better again. I got all the grass cut. Cut two sacks full of hedge and got a tub of weeds out of my flower bed. If I have the energy today I need to get the hedge trimmer out and cut a smaller box hedge today and do some more weeding.

yes i got him there Maple, it was only for a hearing appointment as the hearing aid had gone off into a world of it's own and walking round the house with it screeching all the time was driving me potty, anyway they measured him up for a new one and did something to the one he has for the time being.

Sarge. I hope you checked your hedge for bird nests before you cut it.

Silly news from DWP this morning. It appears I have had a miraculous recovery as I have been refused PIP after being signed off permanently by my GP years ago

Yes, don't you worry Private Tony. I always cut back my big hedge with secateurs for that very reason. The neighbours all think I'm mad as it is a big hedge and if I hear one more person walking past say to me that I ought to get some hedge trimmers I shall scream ! The only hedge I use my hedge trimmers on is a small box hedge by our lawn where I know nothing nests. I'm pleased to announce we have a second brood of great tits in our nesting box on the wall of the house, I can hear them cheeping away. I must rig up the monitor again to see how many there are this time. Four out of five fledged back in the spring.

Don't you worry Private Moon you are not the only one. My oldest cadet has also been deemed to have made a miraculous recovery !
