    there always seems something

Tell me about it. I have received my hospital appointment today. It is tomorrow! Thursday someone is coming (I hope) to sort out our internet. We had a long session on the phone ast week and it seemed to be fine until this morning. It's back to a weak signal or none at all. I hope the hospital visit will tell me more so that I can get the trip to Germany sorted. The plan is we go a week tomorrow. I just hope it'll happen, as I have done a fair bit of shopping over there already (isn't the internet wonderful?)

Ello troops. Didn't really get hit by the hurricane at all yesterday in fact it turned out to be a nice afternoon once the yellow sky had vanished. Not bad on the parade ground today either so if I have the energy I might get the grass cut this afternoon.

Right that's your blood sorted Private Moon just your photos to go ! I hope all goes well at the hospital Private Meebo it's annoying that you can't get things sorted for the German outpost.

Private Mcc2 haven't you got your defenses sorted yet ?
I think I had better lend you my invisibility cloak it's been working well for me over the last two weeks (sob )

Good morning! The heating has come on, though I don't think it is very cold outside. Rather dull and damp, so I hope OH and daughter are having a safe drive to Bournemouth. I have started on another loaf of pumpkin bread. I tweaked the recipe which I hope will work. I do feel rather gittery about the hospital appointment and have trouble settling down to any task. I might just get the hoovering done. But first a cup of tea and I believe there is coffee in the pot

Meebo, hope your hospital appointment goes well, & that you will be able to get a trip to Germany before the bad winter comes.

    Damp & miserable here today,
Relists done, its soon time to get MIL to the hairdressers & while shes there will do her food shopping & ours where has this month gone, seems to have slipped away to quick

Managed the foot appoinment & they have decided they want to see him again in 2weeks, just as we thought we could then get there eyes tested so that will have to wait till after then, though will try & get there appoinments sorted ready,

Ello troops. A bit dreary here too Lieutenant Maplegin, at least I managed to cut all the grass yesterday so the garden is looking better. I really should go into town today but don't know that I can be bothered !

My camouflage is still working well, sigh, hate it when it is like this and no battle action !

Why is the traffic so bad? It took me over an hour on 2 buses to get to the hospital. I could have walked it, I think, though would have been tired out. Anyway, I like the doc and it is definitely another OP. But first a CT scan to make sure there isn't more involved and another visit next Wednesday morning to discuss the result. So Germany has to wait. At best one day, but I think it'll be longer than that. Now I must write to my sister to tell her that she'll be stuck with my shopping for a bit longer...

Been a busy day as we were at the NEC in Birmingham for the Motorhome & Caravan Show - and because of my knees I'd booked a mobility scooter to get around [and carry the shopping!]

Very enjoyable, if a little tiring but think we got everything we went for

    An early night methinks.

p.s. I was wearing my eBid polo shirt ...............
