PMSL there were some good parties in both those houses. I remember my boss from the library at Bath university, who was a very good musician, turned up to one of my parties with his jazz band and played for us, goodness knows what the rest of the street thought ! Our house had also been previously owned by an old gipsy lady and when she died there was a massive gipsy funeral procession through the village.

Morning - rather damp and misty/foggy here - so much for a sunny weekend with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow!

Time for another mug of tea.

Mornin' troops. Eek, I just hope the thunder storms are not too severe having to stand all day tomorrow on Bath rec' for the open air concert ! Methinks I shall be a bit soggy and muddy by the end of the evening. Good job I have had my eBid army training.

Tut, those newbies lulled me into a false sense of security at the beginning of the month by being so quiet and one sneaked in last night from the USA and pinched a listing. Can't you keep 'em under control over there Private Hurry ?!

Yep - very foggy today. The towels on the line from Tues or Wed are still there. I don't know if they will turn green or will dry out first. We'll see, I guess.

Not sure the weather sounds good for an outdoor concert tomorrow, but we live in hope on so many fronts.

Saw a deer yesterday, so that was a treat.
    Ta-Ta for now!

the towels will smell nice when you get them in Maj, I put a coat of white paint on some red wallpaper two days ago and i havent got any umph left to do the next coat, the new bed heads have been in the lounge for over a week along with all the dining room furniture and the carpet is still in plastic wrapping along the landing blocking all the doors and tripping us up and i am just sat here in the middle of all the mess, i should have made stannah put all this stuff back, it's going to take months to get everything put right and we just discovered that when they put the "TEMPORARY" handrail up they cut circles out of the wallpaper all along the stairs that can't be camouflaged, and i hid all my pills when the men were doing the doorway and can't remember where i put them, i've lost my valium and have a feeling i am going to need a handful very soon, tongue smiley as it is what i look like at the moment.

Eastbourne carnival all day today. Teens have gone to that are supposed to be back to watch the match as 13 year old lad is a Liverpool fan

We can't get the match on TV as it on a BT channel and we are with Sky. We have a smart TV so the teens can watch it on Youtube in the living room.

Billy and I will be watching old man TV in the bedroom as neither of us watch any sport on TV
