Well, we have been without electricity til half an hour ago., so the house is not very warm at the moment. But at least it will be again soon (I hope) I has been snowing here, but not a lot settled. Probably just a bit too warm on the ground. I opened the door to the garden for Barney. He took one look and went backwards into a corner of the room. So no going out for him, it seems. Someone will have to do breakfast duty in the morning. We'll be off to another hospital clinic. I hope there will be no news.

Sgt glad you had a good time, its a bit like our neighbour who didn't really want to go to a surprise Party but she went heard from her just before 10am can you feed the cat didn't come home by the sound of it she must have only just woken, so glad people are managing a good time.

Seems nothing but rain here, gather some of the low roads are flooding

Morning - kettle's on, etc. and it's been snowing again overnight and not one car has moved out in the close - yet.

Schools are closed; rubbish collections have been cancelled and the police are advising against non-essential travel.

Just had an enquiry from Denmark about lace bobbins - looks interesting

We were going to view the auction but decided we don't need & don't really need to go further than necessary, need to check on the parents & then take there dog to the vets.

Good morning! We are back home. Still don't know what the MRI scan found as my doc can't access the site and the one that can has only just returned from hols and probably is catching up. I have been promised I will be told if there is a problem that needs dealing with. Otherwise all is well. Got to make some phone calls now.....

The snow has gone here now apart from the hill tops but it's still 0ºC out there. I've decided to close my shops when I go away. It's just going to be too much of a rush to get parcels posted when I get back what with the Cadet and wife coming for an early Christmas and I've also got other relatives to visit before the 25th.
