Same here too. I am just debating if it is worth hanging the washing outside. At the moment the sky is blue, but will it last?

Morning, bright start to the day here, back to blue sky and fluffy white clouds, but someone's forgotten to turn the burner on to heat the air up a bit....

Mornin' troops. I was just about to shout at Lieutenant Maplegin but then discovered someone had crawled under the wire in my shop last night too ! Tut, don't they realize Sergeant Major Cornish needs a lot of beauty sleep ? It takes a lot of effort to disguise the wrinkles these days !

Hopefully the charity people will be coming to take away the Old Soldier's bed at some point today. Then I've just got to figure out how to build the new double bed - I just hope it's not as bad as those chairs we bought that took me ages.

Had a phone call from the cadet yesterday so it was lovely to talk to him again after all this time. They were only going to stay here two weeks but have now changed their mind and asked if they can stay for as long as it takes to get themselves sorted so it will be lovely to have them around again. The only downside is that they are now talking about moving to Edinburgh instead of Devon (sniff, sniff, talk about as far away as possible !!!) so we wouldn't see them so much, but we shall see it could all change again !

Yes it is a beautiful city but it's just all the airport hassle and airport parking I don't enjoy with my anxiety about travelling and it takes ages by train and is expensive !

I am envious. It is so expensive here that I only get my feet done when I visit my sister. It is less than half the price.
