    Default Ebid spammer

Watch out people, I just received this from a member, on two of my items, via ask member a question.

I have reported it to Support and I am awaiting their response.

I have had the same message from eBid [titled -eBid - Q&A Posting Rules Discrepancy], following a notification of question asked. The actual question from person has been removed. I have opened a ticket via contact us /chat option [as the email specifically asked for proof of email via chat].

I find it odd that our accounts have been paused due to someone asking us a question and hopefully #Gaza & support will resolve this

Kodakfish, I do not think that the post originated from eBid. It looked to me as someone pretending to be eBid. Anyhow eBid support got back to me and told me to ignore the questions and that the user has been suspended.

Thanks to support for their fast action on this.

Please report any users asking to make a sale via text message or by unsolicited phone calls.

All purchases should be made via an eBid, not externally to eBid.

Thanks for choosing eBid as your online marketplace.

Pretty common thing, it's even funnier on Etsy as you have two separate mail boxes for customer emails and system emails and the scammers attempt to pretend to be system messages on customer emails.
