Not Gluten free this time? I will have a look. Good morning! Not much snow left, but I think it could rain as the sky it very dark grey. OH is up and getting ready to go to the hospital. He starts the stem cell harvesting which is over 3 days. I won't see much of him as he is very slow in the mornings and has to leave about 7.30 for the bus. He'll be there for a large chunk of the day. Nothing else to report except that tea and coffee are ready and keeping hot. I also plan to make another batch of marmalade. We will see. I might just go back to bed when he has gone as I didn't sleep well. Right, off to have my breakfast now. Have a good day

Fun and games as a lorry has managed to hit the rail bridge [again] which goes over the main through road, and has flipped over onto it's side - traffic is grid locked [again] and I can't get off the estate as the backup is right back to the bottom where we live!

I have looked at gluten free recipes before, and there are such odd ingredients to get something that resembles an ordinary loaf, I think it is a lot easier to by a bread mix. Especially with the machine. You don't have to be there

Mornin' troops. Crikey I also hope the driver of that lorry is O.K.

I do hope Clive isn't in too much pain when he gets back. There was me feeling sorry for myself because I've got a slight sore throat again, kind of puts things into perspective doesn't it !

Now I hope you are all preparing to do YDC battle !

He had to be cut out and is now in hospital. The lorry has been pulled out by a massive crane and it's load transferred to another vehicle. Road still closed

Unusually, it was a local vehicle, not an East European vehicle/driver. I gather he skidded on some left over ice......
