Good morning! Not 6 o'clock yet, but daylight. Looks like summer, but i know the heating is on, so it means it is cold outside. Off to the canteen shortly to have everything ready when my lord and master gets up. He has been working hard over the past week and last night he admitted to feeling very tired. So I hope he'll sleep a bit longer this morning. I managed to do some sewing last night and fancy to carry on with that later. Though we are expecting visitors on Monday and I would like to move a couple of boxes full of wool that are waiting for a new home. It may happen this weekend. So I'd better get a move on with doing the canteen duty...

Morning - we DID have sunshine earlier but it's now clouded over.

I am going to try and clean some tarnished earrings later - wish me luck. Seems all I need is washing up liquid, warm water and a soft toothbrush - oh, and a small basin to swish them round in. And to stay away from the sink so that nothing goes down the plughole!

But first another mug of tea.

Not a happy bunny this morning, my tooth is still twinging after that filling. Looks like I shall have to have something else done to it on Tuesday instead of getting the bottom tooth fixed.

I have a peaceful morning as O/H has gone on the 'March for Science' in Bristol, he's getting radical again in old age !

Another sack of hedge was cut yesterday and while I was preoccupied cutting greenery someone else was cutting barbed wire and nicked a listing. Tut, have they no shame ?!

Despite being up early thanks to Badge needing to go out, I'm running a bit late. Kettle's hot, there's bread for toast + cornflakes, oranges for juicing; oh, and Marmite for those that so wish.

I also have a PO run sometime today

Poor O/H had to do a taxi service for the cadet this morning to Gloucester as the Bath trains are not running at the moment and the bus service would have got him there too late. The cadet is running a course on lower limb management for chiropodists, it's the first time he has done a big presentation like this so he was a bit nervous. I think he's managed to get another physio friend to help him out so I hope he will be O.K.

Another lovely day, not looking forward to the dramatic change in the weather they are predicting in a couple of days I've had enough of the cold !

Well done on the weight loss Private Moon you had better see if they have got a smaller uniform at the quarter master's stores !

Well done moonie with the weight loss, as you said that the self help meds have kept you going so may be wise to do what works for you.

Sgt hope your OH managed to get cadet to the right place.

Was very chilly here but in the last half an hour sun trying to come out.

Somer has just been in & listed for YDC.

    Hope everyone is ok.

Good morning! Looks like another sunny day, though it may be cold as the heating has come on. Daughter arrived safely yesterday and a trip to the airport to collect our visitors is on the agenda. Off to the canteen shortly to make tea and coffee and then check out the YDC .

Morning - our heating's on as well as it appears to have rained quite a bit overnight and it's quite chilly after last 2-3 days of sunshine.

Been busy plugging the YDC on Facebook, twitter & the V&M blog [which I must use more] so now it's back to spot checks after finding an item that I sold in 2015 was still running and having a bit of a clear out for the local Air Ambulance Charity shop.

But first another mug of tea.
