Hi, we  started on eBid on February 2nd 2008. All of our 3990+ 100% positive eBid feedback has been gained through selling & buying on eBid only.

Guaranteed Christmas delivery order dates are listed below, however I may be able to accomodate other request on a case by case basis:

UK mainland - 14th December 2017 for standard courier & standard Royal Mail (2nd class), 19st December 2017 for Royal Mail 1st class & Parcelforce 48 or other 2 day courier services.

20th December for Parcelforce 24 or UPS next day services

For UK you can order upto 3:45pm on December 21st 2017 for guaranteed delivery on 22nd 2017, as Christmas day is on a Monday 2017, if you order on 22nd 2017 I can only guarantee delivery to UK addresses as stated on Royal Mails website if you pay extra for special delivery with Saturday guaranteed, however this is limited to 2kg items

For Western Europe & Poland, Czech Republic & Slovakia last posting date is December 10th 2017

Canada, Finland, Sweden & U.S.A 13th December 2017

Australia, New Zealand & Greece 8th December 2017

For rest of the world it is December 8th 2017 except Africa, Middle East, Cyprus, Asia, Far East, Japan, Eastern Europe (except Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia) which is the 1st December 2017.

Full payment policy below but I accept Paypal, Pay m Mobile payments, Pppay instant and Escrow, UK sterling cheques and crossed UK sterling postal orders.
Cash is only taken for collection items.

Raindropsies Catalogue shop; this is mainly customer returns for a large online store. All items are fully inspected and any defect that is found is put within the description, however most items in this store are simply there because the outer packaging is not as it should be or missing altogether in some cases. My prices reflect this. All are brand new and not been used.

Raindropsies Overstocks shop; This is full of overstocked items from various large online retail stores, all items in this store are brand new and free from defects.

Raindropsies Vinyls shop; This is a vast array of vinyl records, condition varies from item to item, all are detailed on the conservative side so that you know what you are getting. 

The reason I sell is to give buyers the chance to buy goods at the right price with a good postage & packaging rate. I will always discount postage and packing to save you more money on multiple item orders when possible, if all items are with postage included I can normally offer a discount on the item price. I use various delivery methods, lower down you will see shipping guidelines that are set by the companies. (Royal mail, DHL for example) 

ALL items that are posted by Royal Mail automatically INCLUDES INSURANCE UP TO £20 OR EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY. If you need extra insurance please ask for correct postage price. Items delivered by royal mail signed for (recorded delivery) are covered for £50 & myhermes are covered up to £25 including the postage fee. You can purchase extra insurance for a small fee and this will increase the cover up to £100 or £250 with my hermes. Please note that a surcharge on postage may be payable for remote UK delivery areas. IF IN DOUBT PLEASE ASK. I use various carriers to deliver your orders to you, these vary depending on the items size, value and speed. If you have a preferred carrier that you would like me to use then please ask, as I am happy to accommodate where possible.

The only companies I am not willing to use are UK mail and INPOST.

We do all of our posting & packing at cost price. No money is made on P&P. We pride ourselves on the customer service that we provide and our aim is to give all customers 100% satisfaction every time.

We are a business, and as such this gives you some extra protection and certain rights.  

Firstly you as the customer have a period of 30 days starting from the day after the item has been received to cancel your order, this must be done in writing, either by post or email. The 30 days are calendar days not working days 

For orders that are being cancelled, the item/s must be returned with all tags / labels still attached, unworn, still in original packaging and returned by the appropriate postal method. For more details, or if anything is unclear, you can email us with the email you will have been sent by eBid after the auction has finished.

 If you are cancelling an order, the return postage and packaging will NOT be refunded. P&P is refunded if the item is faulty or classed as "not fit for purpose" "Not fit for purpose" does not include buying the wrong size. Full faulty item terms below.

If you receive an item that is faulty (unless described as faulty), not as described, or not fit for purpose you are entitled to a full refund including all postage & packaging cost. If this applies, please email us (our email address is sent before payment is made) with details of the fault/s. 

Please leave a contact number in your email, this will speed the process up. If you wish to return an item that is not faulty, I will gladly accept the return and issue you with a refund of the item price but no return postage.


All refunds will be paid by cheque or the relevant refund button, and this will be done within 48 hours after the goods have been received back.

Shipping Policy. 

If in the unlikely event that your payment processor (Paypal, Pppay etc) name or address is not that as shown on eBid, then I will need confirmation by email before I can post your order to the eBid address, otherwise it will be posted to the address on Paypal / Pppay etc. This is simply an anti-fraud measurement and required by the payment providers.

  I only ship orders after I have received cleared payment. Cleared payment means the following: Paypal instant payments, Pppay instant, unused stamps, cash (sent at own risk), postal orders and PayM mobile payments.

Other payments take longer to clear and these are BACS which can take from 2 MINUTES to 4 banking days,

Cheques, this can take 1-5 banking days to clear, in addition to the time it takes for me to receive the cheque

echeques through paypal - the paypal echeques can take anything from 7 days upto 15 days. This is simply down to paypal & I have no control over this.   

I ship all orders the next working day or sometimes the same day (Monday - Friday) after the payment has been received as cleared funds. Shipping table below so you can see when I will post the item (first day is cleared funds day, second day is shipping day). Please see shipping times in green text for estimated delivery time scales.

Mon = Tue, Tue = Wed, Wed = Thu, Thu = Fri, Fri = Mon, Sat = Mon, Sun = Mon. Please note I do not post on bank holidays, also note that if I can ship the same day then I will try my best to do so, this is subject to change and will vary if I have a notice on my auctions.
Some couriers will require a phone number of the person they are going to deliver to, if this is the case I will email you direct and request a contact number for the delivery address, and will only be able to organise the collection / delivery once I have had this information supplied to me, your phone number will not be stored by me nor will it be used for any other purpose.

If you want an enhanced shipping method please request this before paying so that I can send a relevant invoice, otherwise I will ship by the invoice requested method.

Shipping times vary, All time scales are what Royal Mail say on their website, but as a general rule you should expect to receive your package as follows after I have posted All times are working days only and do not include bank holidays, nor do they allow for industrial action that may happen at time of purchase.

UK: 1st class = 1-2 days, 2nd class = 2-5 days.

Special delivery = next working day Monday - Friday only to 95% of UK otherwise within 2 days to the rest of UK.

Myhermes is the main courier that I use, although I do use others on occasions. Delivery by myhermes can take 3-6 days, but normally 2 days after I drop the parcel off (Monday to Saturday before 12 noon) a signature may be required on delivery. Also if you want the item to be left in a nominated "safe place" please advise me of this when paying through Paypal otherwise the delivery note will have "No safe place" added to it.

Parcelforce 24 = Next working day Monday - Friday, Parcelforce 48 = Within 2 working days Monday to Friday. Parcel2go = Within 3-5 working days. 

European deliveries are as follows: Airmail standard & Airmail international signed for = 3-7 days, Surface mail (International economy) is no longer used by me due to the timescales that it takes

Countries outside Europe delivery times are Airmail standard & airmail international signed for = 3-10 working days, 

Payment policy

Payments must be made for all winning items within 5 days of the auction finishing or within 5 days after using the buy now function or within 5 days of an invoice being issued (which ever is later shall be the start of the 5 day period). This excludes instant payment required listings

Non paying bidders / buyers will have negative feedback left for them & reported to eBid administrators, I issue a payment reminder on days 3 & 4 which is then followed by a negative on day 6 if you have failed to communicate, this is to allow me to get the FVF back & re-list the item for sale, After I have left negative feedback I deem the sale to be cancelled.

Please note that if I have to leave a negative I will also place you on my blackball list. 

Buyers from outside the UK are responsible for paying any custom fees that are applicable to your home country, also non-UK buyers are responsible for knowing the applicable laws, rules & regulations regarding what you can import from overseas, I accept no responsibility for items that are destroyed etc. by customs should the items be banned etc within your country.
*IMPORTANT* I do not mark items as gift on the CN22/CN23 customs form if they are not sent by me as a gift as this would be fraudulent. 

If you are unsure as to what customs duties may be payable, or what you can / cannot import, please find this out before bidding & buying to avoid disappointment. Also note that all electrical items that I sell will state what lead is supplied.

Payment can be made via Paypal, Mobile payments through PayM, Credit & debit cards through Paypal, Pppay, UK sterling cheques, UK sterling postal orders (crossed only)
For collection items I only accept cash on collection.

I do not work on UK bank holiday's, this is due to having family days on these days.
