I am a former eBay seller, with the same user name, jmorgan35, so you can go there and check my positive feedback of more than 1000 if you wish.
I have been in business for more than 40 years and on the internet since 1997. My website is JoAnnMorgan.Com click the link to visit. I was in the antique doll business for many years, now just do doll clothing for everything from fashion dolls to old dolls like Patsy, doll dress patterns, and a few dolls and doll related items.
I feel that shipping is expensive enough at best and try to pack things to make them the least expensive to ship. I use mostly priority mail as it doesn't make sense to go 12 miles to the post office to mail an item that sold for $10.00. When the post office offers online shipping labels for first class and parcel post, I will offer those too. I never charge more than actual shipping.
I will gladly accept checks and money orders,both here and on my website, although I will wait for the checks to clear before shipping--in today's electronic world, that is usually only a couple of days.
. I am not retired even though I just had my 77th birthday the other day--I still work full time and then some. I use the auctions to sell things that I think people who never visit a website looking for those things might want, and will realize there are websites selling them.
I hope everyone will support eBid! eBay, with their high fees and support of scamming buyers, had become an unfriendly envirment for anyone.
