I’ve been interested in ‘stamp collecting’ from my younger times, in fact from the moment my father allowed me access to his collection. I spent many hours during my school holidays looking through the stamps he had filed in envelopes looking for duplicates! In recent years I have returned to my boyhood passion with a vengeance!

As a member of the Bromley & Beckenham Philatelic Society, fourth largest society in the UK, I am further enthused with this hobby seeing outstanding collections put together by other members and visitors to the Society - the variety of themes, expertise and depth shown in so many of the collections presented at meetings is truly amazing.

Personally, I tend to focus my buying and selling efforts on expanding my Commonwealth portfolio, though I don’t collect everything. I also tend towards a cut-off of ‘up to 1970’ or thereabouts. My ‘stamp’ collection is supported by postal covers and related material where that is of interest.

In selling stamps on eBay and elsewhere I am well aware of the importance of quality, service, packaging and price. I aim to provide a range of material, used and mint, low and high value, individual stamps and sets, ‘buy it now’ and auction listings --- but predominately Commonwealth. I try to cater for the needs of the small collector with modest income as well as anyone with deep pockets!

Your purchases will always be shipped in a hard backed envelope however few or many stamps you purchase. Your purchase will usually be shipped within one working day of payment, so if you haven’t received your purchase within 7 days (UK) or 14 days (overseas) please let me know. Most UK shipments will be received next day if payment is received overnight or in the morning.

I try to keep my prices reasonable. I guess that’s a matter for you to judge of course. In setting postage charges there are factors that aren’t always obvious to the buyer which include PAYPAL or MoneyBookers costs and the effect of the package weight inherent in using a hard backed envelope on postage costs. Nevertheless I try to keep the postage and packaging costs to a level that merely offsets these factors. Combining purchases will also keep your costs down – I only make one postage charge irrespective of the number of purchases made so take advantage of this if you can.

I try hard to ensure that the stamps offered are properly described but from time to time I do make mistakes. I offer a ‘no quibble’ refund policy so if you are unhappy for any reason let me know and I’ll resolve the issue with you to your satisfaction.
