This one thought they could convince me they'd payed just by sending me a confirmation email saying they had. Of course I had to send the goods in a rush because it was for a birthday present. Sad to think anyone would be dumb enough to fall for that old trick. On to the blacklist they go.

This auction closed on 25/09/04 and we have yet to receive any communication from this person, let alone payment. We seem to be in the silly season at the moment, with every second bidder being a waste of time. We have paid out more in fees to Ebid than we have made in profit this month thanks to members like this. They will kill this site if we let them.

We are not going to bad mouth this guy. We have successfully sold to him in the past, but this time his payment vanished in the post. These things happen. Our only comment would be; Please don't send Cash or Postal Orders if you are not using an insured service. We can understand his reluctance to complete the transaction when he's already lost money, but it wouldn't have hurt to contact us with an explanation. Good business is about communication and we are not all heartless, money obsessed monsters. We would have understood, honestly!
