Seller's Description

This is the original Record Information Services (RIS) booklet / catalogue (catalog / label listing / discography), No. 18 in the "Record Information" series. It numerically lists all Singles, EPs and LPs issued by the (British) Piccadilly label (a subsidiary of Pye) from start to finish, 1961-1968. Listed by catalogue number and includes Artist, Titles, and Month & Year of issue. The exact numerical details are:

7N 35000 to 7N 35410 (from start to finish of the main singles series, 1961 to 1967)
7N 35500 to 7N 35501 ("Star" series singles from 1962)
NEP 34011 to NEP 34057 plus NEP 34100 (Extended-play series from 1962 to 1967)
NPL/NSPL 38001 to NPL / NSPL 38037 (Long-play series from 1962 to 1968)
FTF 38500 to FTF 38506 ("Face to Face" Long-play series from 1963-1964)

The first release was Joe Brown's single "Crazy Mixed Up Kid", the last an LP by Geno Washington. Perhaps Piccadilly's most enduring claim to fame is that it contains the first releases by a group which later became internationally famous as Status Quo. The label is full of 1960s Pop & Beat rarities, and well-known artists like Joe Brown, The Ivy League, Jimmy James & The Vagabonds, Vince Hill, Clinton Ford, Emile Ford, Billie Davis, The Countrymen, Keith Powell, The Rockin' Berries, The Sorrows, Sounds Orchestral, Jackie Lynton, David Garrick, etc.

A very thorough work, complete with label history & other useful information. Approximately A5 size (14.8 x 21 cm, 5¾ x 8¼ inches) card cover booklet, 44 pages, published in 1993. This item is original 1993 stock. Other catalogues (catalogs / label listings / discographies) are available and will normally be listed on eBid - see for full details.

A postage discount will USUALLY be given for multiple purchases - please ask for an invoice if you buy more than one item.

Unless agreed otherwise, all payments must be received within 3 days - if you have a problem regarding payment, please let me know. If you are unable to pay via PayPal, alternative arrangements may be possible - please contact the seller.

After safe receipt of your item(s), please leave appropriate Feedback, which will be responded to as quickly as possible. Items are described as honestly as possible, but if you think any item does not reasonably match the description, then please contact me as soon as possible so that an amicable solution can be reached.

My experiences as a buyer have not always been happy, typically because of poorly packed or smelly items (the latter usually cigarette smoke), or sometimes unreasonable delay coupled with a lack of communication. As my Feedback indicates, you can buy from me with confidence - everything comes from a smoke free / pet free home and is sensibly packed (so no advice is necessary from buyers), and if there is a problem, you will be kept informed.

Hello Pete, LOL, Nobody has ever "accused" me of being Paul's son, I am a cousin (very big family in Canada). Apart from the early UK Polydor 1950s 78 rpm series Paul has listed for free on the website, he tells me he never got round to doing Polydor, but he does have a lot of Polydor trade record catalogues for sale. Paul no longer does any cataloguing stuff, he does other things. Best wishes, Guy
