Complete set of the 1973 3rd series of British Paintings in pairs from the bottom right corner of the sheet.
Each pair shows the traffic lights in the right border. The stamps are perforated 14×15 on "all-over" phosphor paper.
The stamps are: 3p Self Portrait and 7½p Nelly O'Brien by Sir Joshua Reynolds, and 5p Self Portrait and 9p Reverend R Walker (The Skater) by Sir Henry Raeburn.
1973 was the 250th Birth Anniversary of Reynolds and the 150th Death Anniversary of Raeburn.Add a description here
