About Me

I’m David, and I’m back on eBid after a long break. I used to sell a lot of DVDs and Blu-rays here, but a house move meant I had to step away and then other delays happened. Now I’m back, listing titles from my collection again, slowly. If you’re in the UK, I’ve found that DPD is the most reliable shipping option., it is a little more expensive but far less customs issues and quicker delivery than Royal Mail. I always combine postage, so you’ll only ever pay one shipping charge no matter how many items you buy.

Alongside films, I’ll also be reopening my Woodcraft store soon. Woodturning is something I’ve been passionate about for years — everything I make is 100% handcrafted by me in my workshop. Each piece is unique, cut from storm-fallen Irish hardwoods like Ash, Beech, and other native species. I let the natural grain and character of the wood guide the design, so no two are ever the same.

I’ve made a wide range of pieces over the years including salad bowls, platters, vessels, egg cups, Christmas decorations, and pens — and I’m always adding new skills and ideas to the mix.
